Stranded prt 2

Grants POV

I woke up the sun was rising and I smelled smoke. I slowly crawled out of the hole I slept in. There was the ash's of a bush in front of me. I remembered what happened last night and started running for camp. When I reached camp Gaege was talking worriedly the Mully. Mully seen me and pointed.
"There he is!" He said. I looked at them confused. Gaege ran to me and hugged me. I looked at him but didn't hug back.
"I need to show you guys something" I said they nodded and followed me. I walked to the beach.
"Gaege when you left it attacked" I said. He looked at me confused.
"What do you mean? What attacked?"
"Kozu. A dragon he attacked me!" I said. Geage fan and hugged me.
"Geage... I have no more feelings.." I said sad he frowned.
"That's impossible!" He yelled. I looked down. Nothung is impossible.
"I will prove it! Tell me something you know will make me mad!" I said. Geage looked at me dead in the eye.
"Your parents died because of you! You lied about everything you ever told us" he said I could tell he was sad saying it.
I looked at him I was shocked a little but just looked down.
"You weren't lying. You were always defensive of your parents" Mully said.
"All we can do is get away from this island. Cut down trees grab vines we need them all! Also take these use them if you need help" I said handing them war horns made of a bison horns. They nodded and walked to the woods. I ran to camp and grabbed food out tents, flint and steel, and rope. I ran to the beach. I had all of our belongings. My bow slug across my back. And my axe at my waist. I herd one of the horns from the west of the island. I turned fast dropping everything. I ran to where I heard the horn silently. I seen geage through the bush's. He was in the shadow of a dragon looking figure. It was Kozu. I moved silently through the bush's behind Kozu.
"Help!! Please!" Geage yelled. I moved out of the bushes and leaped on to Kozu,s back. He roared and started bucking and turning.
"Run Geage!" I yelled. He ran for the bushes to safety. Kozu leaped off the ground. I held on to a spike on his back. The air blasted at me cold and sharp. Kozu dived in to a lake. I fell off and swam to shore. Kozu rose from the water droplets coming off.
I grabbed my axe and prepared to run and fight. Kozu stood there then flew away.
"He flew to the beach!" I yelled realizing. I ran to the beaten and seen Kozu standing over Mully and Geage.
"Grant!" Mully yelled. Kozu slowly turned his head to me grin on face.
I walked slowly to him axe ready.
"Don't even think of attacking him" A raspy voice said behind me. I turned quickly and seen a tall figure.
"Why not?! That thing has my friends!" I shouted. The man chuckled.
"Surrender and Kozu will leave them be. Don't and they will die!" He said. I thought for a moment. I looked to Geage.
"Don't do it Grant!" He yelled. I looked to the ground.
" I may have lost emotions but I still have a heart. I surrender" I said. Geage started crying Mully patting him on the back. Kozu came over to the man who had rope in hand. I turned my back on him and my hands behind my back. He tied my hands together then shoved me to the ground and tied my feet to.
He picked me up and threw me over Kozus back. Kozu then flew to the mountains.

*after the flight*

We landed and the man shoved me off. I fell with a thud. The man untied my feet and pushed me on. I seen we were in a cave that had smaller caves attached to it. He threw me in to one. It seemed to have more people in it. He lite a torch and then I seen it.
"Well now I know you have been looking for them. Now you have found them" he said. I stared and the bones of what I could only guess was my parents. I knew I should have felt something but I felt.... nothing. I just stared at them.
"Hmm.. nothing?! Really?! I literally tortured your parents to their deaths! You have nothing to say to that?!?" He yelled at me. I got up and stared blankly in to his eyes.
"I said this to geage and I say it to you. That hunt changed me. I feel nothing!" I said. He shook his head.
"One hunt can't change your feelings!" He said. I looked at him.
"It did I used to feel all the love in the world for Gaege. And now I feel nothing all in the small time of one hunt" I said.
"We will see of that" he said with a chuckle. I felt a stab in my stomach I looked to see a throwing knife. I pulled it out and looked at it. I looked at the man and threw it back with surprising speed. I yelled in pain as it hit his leg.
"You will pay for that!" He shouted. I ran out of the room and ran to where we came. I seen the light at the end and ran faster pain running through my torso. I ran out and to the beach. 3000 meters down I seen the boys. I ran towards them. From where I was the boat was finished and ready to go.
"Go! Get moving! Get that boat on the water!" I yelled. They looked at me and nodded pushing the boat in. They got on and I ran and jumped on.
"Grant... here" Mully said handing my my axe,bow and spear. I nodded taking them and putting them on. The waves pushed us farther out to sea. We survived off of fish and the rare shark or sea bird.

*3 weeks later*

We finally seen land that had people on it. We ported with our half sunken boat.
"Who are you people?! Stay away from me!" Said a little young lady. I glared at her. I was starting to get my feelings back.
"Are you men okay?" Another lady asked I turned to her.
"Grant... let me do the talking" geage said. I huffed our a breath but didn't say a word.
"Can we have some help please? We have been through a lot" he said his eyes pleading and making desperate gestures. I was about to say something but the look geage gave me stopped me.
"Of course! You men look hungry! Come on let's get you food!" The lady said. I felt something off. The others started moving but I stared put.
"Grant are you ok?" Mully asked. I shook my head.
"No! You don't understand what happened! You weren't there when it all happened! What I seen!" I was now starting to raise my voice.
"Grant please calm down. It is over now" Mully said. I looked at him.
"No matter where I am it is never safe.... I will never be 'ok' you don't know" I said. Mully looked at me with pained eyes.
"Grant... come on let's just get food" he said.
"Fine" I said. I followed Mully to the lady's house. There was a soup over the fire. Geage and the lady were chatting.
"Hey Grant" geage said with a smile. I just waved slightly and walked over.
"So is it true you were on that island for so long?" The lady asked. My eyes went wide with shock. I glared at Gaege.
"Yes..." I said. I was uneasy of people knowing of my past.
"Please set down your weapons and sit"she said.
"I will sit but not take off my weapons" I said. The lady was uneasy about that but did not stop me. I sat down and stared in to the fire.
"Grant!" Mully said. I looked over at him.
"What?" I asked. Mully shook his head.
"You zoned out" he said. The lady cleared her throat I looked at her.
"Here is some good eat up" she said handing us all bools. I looked at it. I took a sip and started eating. Then I heard a flap of wings I have not heard for 3 weeks. The others didn't hear it.
"Run! We have to go!" I yelled. The others looked at me weird.
"He is here! K-Kozu is here" I said my voice desperate. Geage got up.
"What are you talking about? It has been 3 weeks there is no way they flew across the sea!" He said. Then I felt a shadowy presence. Then I heard screaming. I looked in to his eyes.
"I told you! We have to go he is after us!" I yelled. Mully looked up darkness in his eyes.
"He is not after 'us'. He is after you Grant. We have already crossed a sea for you! What more is there?! This is your problem not ours" he yelled. I looked down. I sighed.
"Fine goodbye" I said I touched geages hand slightly and walked out.
"Hey Kozu! Over here!" I yelled running through the streets.
