Chapter 8[Mission In Suna]

I get called into the Hokages office today for a new mission. 'Hopefully this is a fun mission!' I thought, cause I've been getting assigned to really boring missions lately. Anyways me along with team 10 are assigned a mission to guard the new Kazekage cause rebels want to take him out. It sounds like a fun mission but the downside is that the mission will be for two weeks.

Me and team 10 head out and the Hokage tells me that it will take two days to get to Suna. "Ugh, why does it take two days?!" I complained to Ino. "Cause the sand village is pretty far away, duh." Ino said while smiling at me. "I bet I could get there in 10 minutes!" I said cause I have super speed and it wouldn't take long. "Yeah right, if you can do it in ten minutes then take me." Ino said, so I picked her up and ran so fast that we got there in five minutes. "Told you!" I said while Ino was throwing up cause she wasn't prepared. Well I guess that was easy, but now we just have to wait till the boys get here.

I checked into a nearby hotel and went up to put my bag up. After I took a shower, I took out a special cup of ramen that Naruto gave me before he left(he left with pervy sage not to long ago). I ate then I went to walk around the village. It was peaceful around the village, and not to hectic. Well the only bad thing was people talking about the Kazekage being a 'demon' or something like that.

After walking around the whole village and getting familiar with it, I head back to the hotel. I don't sleep so I went up to the roof of the hotel. I never sleep cause when I do, I have nightmares of that day. So normally I just sit outside and watch the stars. I watched the stars for a while and then got up to walk around again. I walked for a few minutes, till I reached this tall building. It's about 3 in the morning now and I see a shadow, 'maybe it's a person. Wait no, nobody is up at three in the morning.' I thought. The shadow was making me curious so I slowly walked up the building to find a dark redhead.

"Oh sorry. I didn't know anyone was up here." I said nervously. "Oh it's okay. I didn't know anyone else was up at this time, who are you?" He said while signaling me to sit by him. "I'm Y/N Aiuchi. I'm here on a mission, I'm a hidden leaf ninja." I say as I sit by him looking at the stars. "Hidden leaf huh, how did you get here so fast? I thought you would get here in two days." He said. I was confused cause this was a mission that only the Kazekage knew about. "Umm, who are you?" I said, "I am Gaara, the fourth Kazekage." He said. 'The WHAT?!' I thought, as I started to get up. I got up and bowed, not knowing what else to do. "Please don't bow, it's unnecessary." "Sorry sir." I said while sitting back down next to the redhead.

After that awkward conversation, we talked a little more. Something was different about this guy, he was so easy to talk to and relate to. I don't know why people would say that he was scary and a demon. I mean yeah he's a jinchiriki but he didn't choose to be. Also he wasn't scary, he was really nice and sweet. I felt like we had a good connection and he made me very curious. Anyways we talked till the sun came up, then I left. I met up with Ino and we went around the village and trained till the boys got here.
