Chapter 9

We ended the confederation well more like a down the conversation and walked away with Carol. All we talked about was how far along were the tracking devices were and Norman said we should plan to escape on November 8th. Of course, the other two thought it was too soon I didn't care as long as I get to take Carol with me.

    Ray thought it was too soon since it had only been two weeks since conny had been shipped out. And that the cycle was at least two months and so we should have about a month and a half. Ray and Norman had a debate kind of like the non-stop in Danganronpa. But either way, we decided to tell Gilda and Don tonight.

    "You guys follow my lead." Emma told us. I had brought a sleeping Carol with me since she is always with me. Emma, Norman, and Ray are a bit jealous which I find cute. Emma opened the door to the library and there were Don and Gilda. "What did you want to talk about?" Don asked cheerfully welp his cheerfulness was about to be gone just like Gon's dad.

    "What? Human trafficking?" Don asked Emma who just told him. "Yeah. All of our siblings have been sold off to bad people." Emma told him. I mean she not wrong they are being sold to bad people but she left out the demon part. Don didn't believe her since he started to laugh. "There's no way! No way!" Don told her in response. "But the walls, the gate, and the siblings who left and never write us letters..." Norman tried to reason with him.

    "Oh, come on, now. So what's the punch line? What kind of prank is this?" Don asked Emma but she just gave him a sad look. "You're not saying it's true, are you?" He asked. "It's true," Ray responded. I just kept quiet I mean what's the point if we are not going to tell them the full truth. "Wait. Then what about Mom?" Don asked Emma. "She's the one...Who's selling us to bad people." She responded to him. "There's no way our kind of Mom would do such a thing! Take it back, Emma!"(Leoreo ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) he said.

    "Don. Emma loves this house and Mom. So there's no way she would lie about that."Gilda said who seemed to be the only reasonable one of the two. "Gilda." "And I did think it was weird. The night Conny left... Emma and Norman went to the gate, and..." She said. "You did?" Don asked. (I just notice this but it looks like Don is taller than Emma and Norman) "Even if you broke the rules, both of you would usually apologize immediately, and everything would be back to normal. But you haven't done that. And Y/n also got close to us out of the blue immediately after you went to the gate." Gilda said.

    Emma looked surprised while Don had a look of worry. "Emma, you've become so serious now. So I couldn't ask about it." Gilda started to cry so I hold Carol with one hand and rubbed her back with the other. Emma also came up to Gilda while apologizing." Did you see it, Emma Y/n? Conny being sold off... to those bad people." She asked us I was about to tell her she was dead but Norman beat me to it. "Yeah. But we didn't make it in time." He told her.

"Conny is safe, right?" Don asked. "I don't know," Norman replied. You could tell that Ray also didn't like that Norman and Emma were lying to them. "But how... How could this be?" Don said. "I don't know if this proves anything, but for the past few days, these are our siblings' scores that I had Ray and Emma look into," Norman said while holding a piece of paper.

"The ones who left are over six years old and adopted in the order of lowest scores first. Isn't that weird?" Norman asked. "True, Conny's scores are... And Hao and Ceddy..." Don said. "You're right, Norman."Gilda said "Don. Gilda. Let's escape from here and go help Conny and the others. Let's all run away from here together! Please help us." Emma asked the other two.

None the less they both nodded. Emma was happy about that I was still unsure about the whole lying thing. I went to my room with Carol I had brought her milk to help her sleep and I got ready to sing her a song.
