"So is this finally a thing?" Zendaya gestured to Dinah and Ally, who sat next to each other while eating. Ally smiled and nodded.

"Dinah imprinted," Normani mentioned, laying her head on Zendaya's shoulder.

"Oh word?" Zendaya smirked at Dinah, who laughed.

"A while ago," Dinah shrugged.

"So what does that entail? Like is there a mark or what?" Zendaya asked. Ally held up her wrist to Zendaya. "That's pretty sick, it's like a tattoo?" she ran her hand over the crescent.

"Just a lot more permanent," Dinah nodded.

"So like, you wifed up then, huh?" Zendaya joked, making everyone laugh.

"Yeah pretty much," Dinah said.

"Damn must be so easy to just, know your one life partner," Zendaya said.

"Yeah, but it's a bitch trying to even find your mate. Some search for years and they never end up finding them, others find them at birth, and then there are those like me, who just find them along the way," Dinah explained.

"That's so sad, dying alone? Could never be me," Normani scoffed as everyone laughed.

"Yeah, they just get unlucky, I guess," Dinah shrugged.

"Damn. That sucks," Zendaya snorted.

Lauren sat down with Camila, putting her tray down.

"Where've you two been?" Normani asked as Dinah's nose twitched.

"Gross," Dinah grumbled under her breath.

"Studying," Lauren shrugged, Camila bowing her head to avoid the conversation.

"Way more than stu- ow!" Dinah's ear was flicked from behind, seeing Lauren reach behind Ally, who sat between them.

"Anyway, my father called and has decided that this upcoming weekend we are going to the lake and he wanted to extend the invite to our friends," Lauren gestured to the table.

"Wait really?" Normani perked up. Lauren nodded.

"I'm down, I don't do shit over the weekends," Zendaya shrugged, setting her arms on the table.

"Yeah same, so excited," Normani clapped.

"Camz?" Lauren looked at Camila.

"Yeah," Camila shrugged, "I'll go."

"Awesome," Lauren smiled before leaning toward Ally, "also you're expected to come home with us again."

"Oh, for what?" Ally's eyebrows furrowed.

"My father doesn't want you on campus when Dinah isn't there," Lauren shrugged, "safety precaution. Not saying you can't defend yourself, but you know your ex."

"Yeah," Ally shrugged.

"So," Lauren leaned away, "Sunday at 10, we'll meet you guys there?"

"Sounds good."

"You really have to go?" Normani frowned.

"I do. It's only for the weekend Mani," Ally chuckled.

"I know," Normani slumped.

"And I'll see you on Sunday," Ally added.

Ally laughed, "okay, c'mon child, we gotta go."

"Fine," Normani grumbled, following Dinah and Ally out.
