I opened my eyes the next morning and a smile broke out on my face when I caught a glimpse of Dak sleeping next to me.
He looked so peaceful, and I knew he was getting some much needed sleep.
This was the Cowboys' bye week, and the whole team could use some rest, given the amount of hard work they had put in during the first half of the season.
Dak eventually opened his eyes, tiredly smiling at me and stretching.
"I wouldn't mind waking up to this every day," he said thoughtfully, leaning over to peck me on the lips.
"Me neither," I replied happily.
We both got up and started doing our morning routines. Dak took a shower first while I brushed my teeth.
"Babe, I left another shirt for you on the bed," Dak called out after he had finished his shower and I had gotten in.
"Okay!" I replied, hearing him leave the room to go to the kitchen.
When I had changed and walked into the kitchen, I saw Dak flipping pancakes by the stove, wearing just his boxers.
I took in the sight of him for a second, silently admiring all of his tattoos.
"Hey," I said, walking up to Dak and wrapping my arms around him from behind.
"Hey you," he replied happily, putting the last pancake on a plate and turning around to greet me properly.
He leaned down and gently took my lips in his, licking my bottom lip.
We kissed for a while before slowly pulling apart.
"My shirt looks so good on you," he murmured, making me giggle when he gently took my hand and twirled me around.
"Don't worry, I'll try not to take all of your shirts," I replied with a smile.
"Are you trying to torture me?" He asked lustfully, glancing down.
I then realized that during the twirl, the shirt must have come up just enough to see that I was not wearing any underwear.
"Maybe I am. Is it working?" I asked teasingly.
"Yes, it's definitely working," he replied, softly toying with the bottom hem of my shirt.
"Good," I said, smirking at the very noticeable bulge in his boxers.
"So, what do you want to do today?" Dak asked slowly, slightly lifting my shirt.
"I think I have a pretty good idea," I murmured, letting my fingers play with the waistband of his boxers.
"Oh yeah?" He breathed, lifting my shirt even higher.
He opened his mouth to speak, but was cutoff by a loud sound coming from the door.
Before I could react, the door flew open and I came face to face with Zeke.
We quickly pulled away from each other.
"Oh...please don't say y'all were about to do it right here in the kitchen," Zeke said, his voice rising with every word.
"What...are you doing here?" Dak snarled. He looked as though he could kill Zeke in that moment.
"Um, I figured I could get some work in before the bye week, plus I brought Ace," he replied with a shrug.
That's when I noticed the Rottweiler puppy standing behind him on a leash.
I started to pet the dog, but I quickly stopped myself once I remembered that I wasn't wearing anything underneath my shirt.
