You were having a stressful day. School was stressful, people were stressful and most importantly, life was stressful. You felt completely and utterly run down. No matter how many times you dismissed the matter when Jiro or Saburo would ask what was wrong, you couldn't stop feeling this way. It was exhausting to say the least. At least now you could just go home and rel- you spoke to soon. The minute you left the shelter of school, a heavy downpour decided to join you, soaking your body right down to the bone.

You let out a heavy sigh, not bothering to take cover as it wasn't much use now. Instead, you just continued walking by yourself to the comfort of your home. You weren't walking with anyone, as you had left school later, having been stopped by a teacher who needed your help with carrying some things. God knows why they asked you though, you didn't exactly radiate the word 'strong' off your small, thin frame. It wasn't that you were undersized or weak, just petite in comparison to others. A real pain to be sometimes. Especially when you were trying to make a point with Jiro, who could never find a decent insult so just kept referring back to your height. That idiot..!

You were sick and tired of him and his crappy brain, but you loved him nonetheless. You loved all your brothers lots. Ichiro probably taking first place though, as he practically raised you from a baby. You were 13, just younger than Saburo, who had the higher ground on you by one year. It was a miracle he had kept you all running as a successful, happy family. But he did. That was why all three of you loved and idolised him so much. He was a hero. Your hero.

With the thoughts of your family at home, you sped up your walking a bit, as to get home sooner. You were sure you would get a cold, but there was nothing much you could do now. Just as you were about to turn the corner, something heavy hit the back of your head, jerking you forward a bit. You held a hand to where it had hit, and turned around to see where it came from. To your surprise and utter dread, there was a figure standing there. Three figures to be exact. Your school bullies.

You hadn't told anyone about these three, not a teacher, not your brothers (not even Ichiro) which was new for you. You always told Ichiro everything, but this time you didn't want to burden him. When they first saw you, they decided to ditch their last victim and make you their newest target. You had contemplated telling at least one of your brothers, or at least a teacher after the first week or so, but you just kept avoiding the matter, until it became a daily thing for you. One which you weren't going to bother solving now. They were sneaky though, really sneaky. Whenever one of your brothers or a teacher was around, they wouldn't as much as look at you. But the minute everyone disappeared you were the only thing in their eyesight. A perfect, weak target to torment. You didn't enjoy it, not one bit, but after dealing with their crap for long enough, you decided to just give in and avoid them as much as you could. It didn't do much, but at least it spared you a few beatings or mentally torturing minutes.

You gulped, swallowing back your saliva. You didn't want to deal with them, not now. Not when you were nearly home. You thought about just bolting home, but decided against it for a few reasons:

1) If they followed you all the way back home, they would know where you lived and you couldn't have that.

2) If they followed you all the way back home, there would be the risk of having to explain this to your brothers.

3) Even if you ran, they would probably catch up to you in your sorry state, so that would cause more explaining to your brothers.

At this point you were at a loss. Running home would do nothing, and you didn't know anywhere safe enough to hide around here. I guess you were stuck with either staying still or running for help. You thought it over for a second, before sprinting off inthe direction of a public park you knew. It was a long shot, as it was raining, but if you could find someone, anyone, you might be alright.
