lim jugyeong. a girl with a soft heart but not-so beautiful face, according to korean society. after being bullied to the point of her not being able to take it in anymore, she found herself here,

at the rooftop.

the girl sobbed as she sent the voicemail to her clueless mother and stood up from the little seat she was at climbing onto the edge of the rooftop, staring at the sky.

she stood there for a moment, replaying her life on rewind all the way to where she was right now, making her realise,

just as she felt herself regretting her choices she felt arms wrap themselves around her waist, pulling her and the other person down to the round.

the girl who had dropped her glasses during the fall looked up at the blurry figure in front of her, feeling anxious of what the boy stood in front of her would say.

he screamed at the girl with anger raging through his body.

the girl not knowing how to retaliate or tell the boy that she also regrets her decision stood there in defeat before she suddenly saw the figure turn around and leave the rooftop.

in fear of being alone, without her glasses she runs after him.

"EXCUSE ME, WAIT! PLEASE DONT GO!"

the girls says holding onto the staircase handlebars for her dear life, before sitting down the stairs and throwing a tantrum, coming to the conclusion that this man or boy has probably already left.

"my life is such a mess."

she wailed dramatically before hearing faint footsteps again.

"you came back! thank you, thank you!"

she said her energy suddenly coming back as the boy picked the girl up, helping her go down the stairs.

after finally helping her, the boy sends her off  into a taxi and leaves, but not before jugyeong sends him off with a big smile, thanking him for today.

little did she know that, that little smile wouldn't leave his head for a good amount of time.
