once han seojun heard those words come out of jugyeongs mouth he suddenly felt the world around him spinning.
resuscitation? ji eun?

the boy rushed out of the hospital room his heart dropping with each step he took.
he finally got into the main hospital room and that was when saw her.
"one shot, CLEAR!"
the doctor screamed as he shocked the lifeless girl.
seojun felt his whole world disappear as he rushed to the girl looking at her pale face.
"ji eun, what's wrong with you?"
the boy cried out softly as he pushed past the doctors and shook the girls arm.
"ji eun...you were just with me, why are you in the hospital bed? you'll be alright right? huh? ANSWER ME! JIEUN!"
the boy shouted as his sobs grew louder. the doctors who were currently trying to revive the girl pushed the boy aside before shocking the girl once more.
"third shot, CLEAR!"
the doctor said.
no response.
"lee ji eun, pronounced dead, time, 9:30."
han seojun couldn't believe it.
ji eun? dead?
what the hell were they talking about?
"yah ahjussi. what kind of bullshit are you talking about? WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHES DEAD? THATS LEE JI EUN, DO SOMETHING! SHE CANT BE DEAD, SHE CANT LEAVE ME!"
the boy cried out as he grabbed onto the doctors collar completely breaking down as he fell to the ground.
suddenly the weak boy was picked up and punched across the face by angry and teary eyed,

suho shouted at the sobbing boy in denial.
"mr lee, i'm going to need you to calm down-"
"WHAT THE HELL IS HE TALKING ABOUT?! WHATS GOING ON? WHERES MY SISTER?!"
the boy screamed in frustration.
"we're sorry to inform you, but she just passed away a few minutes ago?"
the doctor said lowly as he slowly watched the boy break down too.
"what are you talking about? no, my sister would never, not after our mum left us, she would never-"
lee suho said as he opened the curtains to see the lifeless the girl laying on the bed.
"ji eun, wake up, oh? who's going to annoy me if your not here anymore, you promised you would never leave me after mum left us, who will beat me up if not you? LEE JI EUN, WAKE UP!"
the boy screamed as he held onto the girl. his sons were heard throughout the hospital as everyone there broke down.
jugyeong was currently crying in suhos hospital room, she couldn't believe what was going on. the brave girl who always saved her was gone and jugyeong wasn't able to save her this time.
han seojun was still on the ground wailing. he was a jerk to the girl he loved and when he had finally realised just how much love he had for the girl she was gone. he had already lost seyeon and wasn't able to save the love of his life, he was broken.
her dad was completely overtaken with emotions, after their mother passed away their father had completely neglected them leaving them to succeed on their own, he was too busy thinking about his own life that he didn't realise his 2 children where in pain, he had lost his wife and now a daughter, his heart was filled with guilt.

one of the doctors came inside ji eun's hospital to clear everything up when he suddenly heard the monitor beep.
"WE HAVE A PULSE!"
is all the man said to cause everyones head to raise.

"ji eun! my daughter, your awake are you okay? how are you feeling?"
the old man called out as he looked at the weak girl.
"does he know?"
the girl spoke out weakly.
"what are you talking about?"
her father said growing confused.
"i know you know the truth about my condition, does suho know?"
the girl whispered.
"no."
"good, don't plan on telling him either, he's probably already traumatised with what just happened."
the girl spoked before slowly turning away from her father, her back facing him.
the girl wasn't fazed by this near death experience. the truth was, this want the first time.
it's true that ji eun was at first forced to go to America but she ended up going on her own after hearing she could treated for her pneumonia there. she had been secretly getting treated whilst also keeping up with her school work.
but right now the girl didn't care about any of that, she didn't want to see her fathers face.
"i'm sorry. i know you don't want to see my face right now and i have not right to beg for forgiveness but ji eun at least consider this. i know you don't want to leave suho again but your health comes first. I've found a good doctor in the us who's a specialist with pneumonia, I'll give you some time, but I only wants what's best for you and I think that's coming back to america with me."
the older man finished before getting ready to leave only to be stopped by ji eun's weak voice.
"i'll go."
"just give me a week."
if only she knew what a week that was going to be.
