I got busy with my mini family on the floor, a part of my mind was not with me though.

'Shruti..is that you?

"I turned and stood frozen there. I just wanted to avoid this situation for today but it seems next to impossible now.

'Hi Aashna, What a surprise!'- I tried to sound enthusiastic as much as I could.

'Hi Shruti! I didn't expect you to be here. Are you alone or with someone?'

'I am here with my friends'.

'Oh, great! won't you introduce me to them?'

Oh no! not now :(

'Umm..yeah'- She was grinning widely.

'Hey guys, this is Aashna, my dance partner I told you about And Aashna, this is Mihika, Pallavi, Ishika, Tanmay and..where is Vanshika?'

'She went to the restroom. I will get her.' With this, Tanmay left.

'So come, I will introduce you all to my friends'.

I stiffened at Aashna's words. I looked at Ishika and her eyes were already focused on me.

'It would get awkward Aashna, we are fine here'- She replied with a smile.

'Oh no excuses, please. I want you all to meet them please if you are comfortable of course.'-Ishika was about to reply but excited, overly excited Pallavi, and Mihika beat her to it.

'Sure, why not.' That's it. Aashna led the way and she was accompanied by Pallavi and Mihika. Mihika's phone started buzzing and she went outside to take the call. Me and Ishika, We were taking baby steps. She intertwined our fingers and gave me a comforting smile.

'Hey, Guys..Attention please' Aashna was so enthusiastic only if she knew. The first person, I made eye contact with, was him with no emotions attached. I tore my gaze and looked at Ishika. She was in a contest, staring contest with ...I know him..Ani..Anirudh? He is a masterpiece I must say. and on the other way.. another romantic scene casting a handsome brown eyes owner and..wha-what? Pallavi? and she was blushing. Point to be noted, my lord.

Behind her was Mihika..in all her glory shooting daggers at another handsome male in the room and he returned her glares with a smirk adorning his face. I thought she would end up being in a relationship with a girl. But this is another story to explore.

Tanmay came with Vanshika and..her eyes red?. She masked it with a smile. But her smile was short-lived. I looked in the direction. Another hotty was walking towards us with his eyes fixed at Vanshika. She ignored him! Uff..Please remind me to ask them later, when we are alone!!

Aashna did the introduction part. I guess she didn't notice the awkward silence there. After a very, I mean very short intro of almost five mins, we bid our byes. I didn't look at him this time but I knew, his eyes were glued to me.
