Elena Vanderbilt

"I accept the mission," I said with reluctance as I met Mr. Windsor's eyes.

"Great Miss Vanderbilt!" Mr. Windsor said happily, "I will make sure to have an available undercover profile set by the end of this week which includes a new identity, false background story, you are familiar with the process, yes?"

I simply nodded.

"The same will be done for you Hawk. Thank you all for meeting with me," he quickly said as he got out of the booth and rapidly disappeared out of the door. This meant I was alone with the young Hawk who was enjoying the circumstances a tad too much

"Get that smirk off your face. I'm not staying for "beer" or shit like that," I reassured him, "I know your type."

I stood up and fixed my dress just as he spoke.

"Wait, you drink beer? And what is that about knowing "my type"?" he asked, "that's a little too bold, wouldn't you agree?"

I rolled my eyes again and headed out. Jackson followed after me like a lost puppy. It was very dark outside. You could feel the warm humid air sticky on your bare shoulders.

"You are a Hawk, I think that pretty much sums it up?" I stated, "anyhow the way you were so surprised to me drinking beer also tells me you are a tiny bit bold yourself."

I continued aimlessly walking like a zombie.

"Damn. I can't deny it. You are right, Princess," he said as he put his cold hands in his brown leather jacked as he walked in front of me, causing me to stop in my track.

"Um do you mind? Look it's been a very very long day and I am really not in the mood to kick you in the face right now," I said annoyed, "And you got to stop calling me fucking "Princess" did you forget I am armed AND hungry. Do not mess with me."

I immediately shooed him away using one hand. But that son of a bitch didn't even flinch and just stayed put. He slowly tilted his head as he looked down on me. He was around a foot taller than me but I had fought way bigger guys. Therefore, he did no intimidate me one bit.

"Princess...with a shotgun then,'' he smirked, "has anybody told you that you are not very friendly?"

With the dimmed lights of the city, I could manage to see a lifted eyebrow along with a hint of a smile that was hiding right in the corner of his mouth.

"Oh my god, really?! Well, good thing I'm not here to make friends and you are being intrusive anyways, " I said as I took a step to the side so I could be able to walk around him but he wouldn't stop following my every move. We were dancing around from side to side until I gave up.

"Oh shit you really want me to knock you out? Because you are testing my patience so much right now," I warned, "if it was not because I need you and your stupid pretty face for this mission, I would have already karate chopped you back to your mom's vajayjay. And no. I'm not joking."

"You think I have a pretty face?" he asked. He folded his bare hands right under his chin excessively batting his eyes at me in a mocking manner.

Jesus help me. I just crossed my arm and began taping my foot without stopping on the pavement as I sighed.

"I'm sorry, it's just that I feel a connection with you," he says, " I don't know if you know but this is the first time I will be working alongside an Assassin and to put the cherry on the top, you are THE Elena. However you got me confused. You appear to hate everyone... so how do you manage to seduce guys just like that?" He snapped his fingers.
