Three years after

Looking at the sharp edged frame inside my boss office, I remembered my graduation ceremony, it was blissful, it was wow,  I remembered the material granny bought for me it was diaphanous, the graduation ceremony was sizzling. Well I was happy cause I have been longing for that moment, my speech on that occasion was hmmmm,  I could remember vividly it was emotional, both teachers and students almost cried even me the speaker was drawn to the atmosphere,  time and season may have passed but the memory is always with me... Yes truly now I believe in God as my first and true love, I was smiling wryly until I heard a noise coming from my boss office immediately I jerked up, desperate to know what happened I rose up and walked sloggishly to meet Titi... Titi was the shop broadcaster,  well I am a makeup artist I decided to learn makeup before going to the university  just to aquire some skills and to be able to make money for myself instead of just relying on grannies

"Nawa oooo JJC, oga and her boyfriend na every time dem dey fight, that scar wey dey oga hand na d guy give am na" "jees" "wetin abeg no be my mouth you hear am oooo ma KO bami ooo" I clearly understood what she said I watched her go back to her post "nawa ooo all these men can't make heaven" I also went back to my post, the noise continued till the guy left, seeing him made me wanna puke and he will be claiming he loves her so fast so good the only love I believe in is that of God, girls sef na by force soon now they will be complaining of heart break.... "Bibire" madam called "yes ma", "I will be leaving now, when you close lock the shop and keep the key, okay" "yes maam, good night ma " "night night"

Seven was our usual closing time, but since we were not busy we were allowed to close six thirty, immediately it was six thirty we closed  for the day I did all madam instructed me to.. I prayed in my mind that the road should be free, I held fifty naira in my hand hoping the bike man will collect, "bike!!!" I shouted the bike man stopped "where to", "iyana, how much? ", "fifty naira" the man said I hopped on the bike luckily for me there was not traffic,  when I got home I met my grannies outside gusting and laughing "Ekale ma, ekale sir" thankfully I learnt Yoruba "bawoni, bawoni ise e tete de ni eni see ko so? "Ewo ni kin dawun bai" "sir and ma everything was fine and we weren't busy today that why" ok go and freshen up your food is in the cupboard", "food here I come, bye" ok dear, I went to the kitchen after shower and a short prayer thank God it rice today I ate hurriedly like a hungry lion, after food I cleaned the table and washed the plates, afterwards I went to my room took my phone chatted with some of my colleagues, Kristen was online we talked, laughed, gisted and reminded ourselves of the past and all it was talking to him I missed h so much my crush I didn't want to develop feelings "TTYL bye" "why" he said "nothing I have to go to work  tomorrow" "wow you are a big girl now I will like to meet you again" "smiles same here, bye", "good night dear" he said. I didn't reply I logged out,  I laid down on the bed looking at the fan rolling I said Lord I am grateful for your grace and your love... I love you thank you...
