Authors note:

Hi loves! I know I haven't posted an update in a while, but lately I've been swamped with school and work. I really wanted to write a Christmas chapter because I love Christmas, so the end of this chapter was sorta rushed. Just a heads up that the next chapter will be set a bit in the future, since I had originally started this fic back in the fall, and now it is winter. In order to catch up to our current date, I have decided to do this with the next chapter. This will also help because then I'll be able to write a Christmas chapter, and have it released on Christmas day:) I've been trying to find the time and motivation to write, so please bare with me as the next few chapters may not be up to par with my own expectations:( I hope you all love this chapter and thank you so much to all of those who have added this story to their library, or to those who have shown love by liking the chapters. Everything you do means the world to me, and feel free to share this fic with your friends:) I love you all so much.

The light was peeking through the curtains in Kylos bedroom. When you finally woke up at ten thirty, you heard chatter coming from outside the room, so you decided to get up to see what was going on. But first, you really had to pee. You made your way to his bathroom and turned on the light. Fuck. It was so bright. After you finished, you came back out, and that's when you noticed that Kylo wasn't in his bed... in fact, that whole side of the bed was untouched.

Exiting the bedroom brought you to the open living area, where you noticed Daisy and Rachel were sitting on the sofa. They looked at you with confused eyes, and before you could ask what was up, they asked you where Kylo was.

"I don't know... I thought he'd be out here with you guys."

"We haven't seen him and we've been up for almost an hour and a half" Rachel said.

"Oh... well maybe he just went outside for a jog or something..." You thought back to when you met him downstairs, and he had just come back from a run. You weren't really sure what to do at this point. Leave without saying goodbye, and without locking the door? Wait for him to get back? Text him or call him to see where he was? Then your phone buzzed... It was Kylo.

Sorry I had to leave. I have meetings all day. You're welcome to stay for as long as you want, and don't worry about locking the door. I'll have one of the staff members do it. I'd like for us to continue working together too please. Why don't you meet me here tomorrow evening, and bring what you have so far. It's been a few days since you've updated me on the project.

Sure. I've only got some paint samples, and some wall decor, but we can test out the paint colours if you want.

Okay.

After reading his last text, you made sure you had everything you came with, and then you ordered an Uber.

"Kylo said that we can just leave whenever, so I ordered us an Uber so we can go back to my place."

"Alright... how are you feeling?" Daisy asked in a concerned voice.

"I'm fine... well not really fine but it's okay... I think sleeping in helped."

"Did you and him, like, do anything?" Rachel asked.

You shot her an annoyed glare. "No. He didn't even sleep in the bed with me."

"Really?" they said in unison.
