It was a few days later and Jackson was taking a trip away from the Burrow for the day, with Ron covering for him but Ron had another item on his mind to, leading him to stand in front of Bills door, knocking he heard Bill shout 'enter' and cautiously entered, "Hey Ronnie, what's up?" Bill asked glancing up from a book "I-I, er, well wanted to talk" Ron uttered

"then don't just stand there" Bill uttered patting the space beside him "come talk, I'm all ears" he spoke, Ron slowly made his way when he noticed Bills bedside draw was open, peaking inside he saw objects that had Bill leaning to shut the draw fast "um, private" Bill got out, Ron bit the inside of his cheek and gave a breath before sitting by Bill, who grunted as he returned to a sitting position, "what's up Ron?"

"h-how, c-c-could s-someone k-know, t-they w-weren't s-straight?" Ron stuttered out cautiously, Bill sighed "I'll answer, but first, let me say that anything we talk about stays between us as long as needed, I wont say anything" Bill uttered, Ron nodded gratefully as Bill continued "it's a process, it takes time, figuring yourself out isn't a simply choice, for some it's easier, they find something that they feel fits, it never means they fully feel the way people typically describe that persons 'trait' some people may only like the same gender for one person specifically who makes them feel different, others don't really care for physical aspects, others feel no romantic or sexual desire, others could feel one not the other, it's two large spectrums, terms are just the 'accepted' description of placed on that spectrum, it could take years, and to tell you in private?" Ron nodded curious to what Bill may say "it took me and a male friend in Hogwarts messing about our seventh year and then meeting up a few times I was in Britain to even question if I liked guys, and it took another few years to realise that the answer was yes, I do, but only Jackson, Charlie and Perce know, so..."

"keep it secret, I will, why not the twins?"

"oh, they know, but that's embarrassing" Bill replied with red face "walked in on me, probably told Ginny but I only told you and the other three directly, that I'm Gay" Bill continued Ron leaned into Bills' side "good to be the last to even have hints" Ron snorted "b-but what about e-e-experimenting?"

"people do that" Bill replied "Ron, tell me what you want to talk about, or about what you really want to know"

"a-about, um, having things inside..." Ron drifted

"I-I couldn't describe-"

"no, m-me and Ja-Jackson, h-h-he fingered me" Ron stuttered out

"did you ask him to?" Bill uttered

"y-yeah, I-I wanted to k-k-know about it, b-but, I-I don't know, I-I really liked it a-and h-he looks good but, I-I'm not sure" Ron uttered a few stray tears cascading down his cheeks, Bill wiped them away "you don't have to know after experiencing one thing, some straight men like having things inserted into them, doesn't make them less straight, and I do agree Jackson looks good, did you both agree to anything about it?"

"w-we'd take it slow, I-if I wanted t-t-to experiment more h-he'd help, a-and I-I-if anything h-happened further w-we'd take it a-as it came" Ron uttered

"that's a good plan, and if anything does happen, talking it through is better than not Ron, so why come to me?" Bill spoke

"y-y-you're older, f-figured, you-you'd have something to add", Bill chuckled and took out a book from his nightstand removing tapping the fake cover with his wand the words shifted from 'Potions that kill' to 'LGBT+ Wizarding Guide Volume 1: Discovering Yourself' "I have Volumes 1 through 5, I'm currently on 5, I'll let you have the others, but start with this, a-and open that draw you saw, time for advice, and 'the talk'"
