A Country's Gorey Demise

A is for America who drowned in a pool

America watched happily as everyone splashed around in the lake. It was his idea to host this party and it was turning out GREAT, All of his parties did. He watched as Britain sat down next to him. He instantly leaned against the Brit. "Hey Iggyyyy~" He cooed.

Britain blushed a bit and growled, "Get off me git..."

America huffed and sat back up properly. "Aw you're so cold," he pouted.

"Shut up..."

"Hey! We should swim together!" America suggested and got up.

"No thanks..." Britain sighed and blushed even more when he was lifted off the ground and kissed. He slowly closed his eyes and returned the kiss. After a minute they broke away for air.

"Love ya' Iggy!" America laughed and ran onto the dock and jumped into the lake. "Kowabunga!" He shouted before going under in a cannonball and causing a huge splash. When he surfaced again he floated on his back and did backflips in the water.

Britain chuckled as he watched America splash in the water. He wasn't one for swimming so he didn't swim too often.

"Hey, Iggy, Watch me!" America laughed and went on the top of a large rock at the deeper part of the lake.

"Be careful!" Britain shouted at him, grinning.

"Of course!" America smirked and did three backflips into the water and everyone cheered. After a while all that came up were bubbles and nothing else. Britain's face turned from amusement to fright.

"America?"

No answer.

"Oh my god!" Britain ran out into the lake and swam towards where America once was. "America?!" He voice cracked in horror and fear that America might have accidentally drowned. Everyone started searching for the missing nation. He dived underwater in hope of seeing him - Absolutely nothing, no sign at all. He surfaced again and looked towards Germany, worried.

All Germany did was shake his head and Britain burst into tears. "A-America... That git..." He sobbed and said "I'm going to keep searching, you guys can head on back without me....." He dived underwater once more and searched around again. He saw everyone heading back to the beach and looking back at him, worried. He dived under water then surfaced again "He's got to be around here somewhere... Right? No one can just... Disappear just like that!" He said to nobody.

America choked on water as he was dragged down. He looked around in hope of finding what exactly was dragging him down. He found nothing, he was running out of air - fast. He looked down ad saw glowing blue eyes and his eyes widened. "You..." He said before finally passing out.

Author's Note:  I know, this isn't a pool, this is a lake. I just didn't want him to drown in a pool.... Mooahahahah
