The Scamanders

A/N:yes we are going to have a little twist here, more Wizarding Characters popping up, also I may make up some characters.

Shannon was excited to see the English landscape in the farmlands, the change of environment would cheer her up from the snake incident, as a matter of fact the Dursleys left on a vacation of their own on the same day they were in quite a hurry as if they were running away from something.

Shannon saw a big house filled with images of weird creatures and fantastic Beasts.

"What is that house dad?" Shannon asked.

"That is the house of the Scamanders my childhood neighbors, they were a little odd like Harry, but they were good people, they believed all of the creatures in that wall were real, and talked about them as if they actually lived and walked around the house" Her father said.

"Can we visit them dad?" Shannon asked.

If they were anything like Harry, Shannon was quite interested in meeting them, they could provide answers or something close to an explanation. Shannon and Alfie weren't allowed to come but Shannon would try to make the most of it.

" Let's get into our house and they'll come visit, trust me" Her father said.

Shannon was just so intrigued, she had forgotten getting answers about Harry Potter, she had to get answers from them.

The Combe Family home, wasn't as bright and colorful as the Scamander home but it was nice little farm house on top of a hill.

Once inside it did not take long for Shannon to spot a family of 4 coming out of the mistery house.

"are those them dad?" Shannon asked.

"well, that does look like Jacob Scamander and he has 2 sons apparently" Her father.

"Henry is that you?" The man in the family said approaching Shannon's father.

"It has been a long time hasn't it" Shannon's father said.

"yes, may I present you my wife Allegra and my children Gryphus and Rolf" Jacob said.

"Hello" responded the Combe family.

"here my wife Ana and little Shannon" Henry said.

Shannon took a better look at the family, the dad tall with dark red hair, the Mother   the older sun with platinum blonde hair and the younger one with Strawberry blonde hair.

"And your parents? Newt and Tina? where are they?" Henry asked.

"Busy in London adjusting some things before they retire" Jacob answered.

"Really? I never knew what they worked in" Henry answered.

"An animal shelter" Jacob said.

"Interesting, well maybe we should let the kids play a little bit, it has been some time since we have been to the country side and Shannon could use the fresh air, she has been going a little crazy over a recent visit she did to the zoo with her friends" Henry said.

"Oh really what happened?" Gryphus asked.

"Well I am afraid of snakes and my rather strange neighbors next door were there and before I knew it once of the snakes scaped and passed right next to me" Shannon replied.

"Strange next door neighbors?"Rolf joined in on the conversation.

"I don't know at least one of them, I saw him dissapear mid air one Halloween and everyone thinks I am crazy so dad thought we could use some time away from the city" Shannon said expecting them to think she was crazy too, but they had a home painted with mythological creatures.

"Oh! really what is the name of this neighbor of yours? Disappearing in mid air sounds fun ... I wish I could do it" Gryphus said as Rolf gave him a weird look.

"Oh Harry Potter he lives with his uncles and cousin as his parents died in a car accident..." Shannon managed to say before the two boys gasped.

"What? do you know him? he has never left Little Whining since I have lived there, his family barely allows him to go to school" Shannon said stranged.

"We may have seen an old journal, Gryphus loves those, don't you Gryphus" Rolf said.

"Of course I love to read random news on old journals, Rolf was with me when we read about that car accident" Gryphus said clearly nervous.

Shannon wanted them to show her the article but she prefered to try to get her mind off Privet Drive and it's mysteries.

"So... I see that your house is very colorful why is it painted with all of those mythical creatures?" Shannon asked.

"Our grandfather loves magical creatures, I mean, he named me Gryphus"  Gryphus said.

"Anyway it was nice to meet you I brought some books to read out here" Shannon said.

"Can I borrow some? We are going to school in september and I need to distract myself from Rolf asking me for help all the time" Gryphus said.

"It's my first year I'll need help"Rolf said.

"You go to a boarding school?" Shannon asked.

"Yes, It's a very special one, our parents and grandfather went there as well Grandma is american grandpa met her traveling around the world" Rolf said.

"That is how my parents met as well" Shannon said.
