Chapter 1
It's my birthday
Shirabu hesitated about his 16th birthday coming up because that was the time when he would find out about his soulmate. A little backstory when people turn 16 in this world a symbol would show up on your neck and whoever had the same symbol that was your soulmate and Shirabu didn’t want a soulmate mostly because ego his ego but he also didn’t want his life planned out by a stuped mark on his neck. He was a type of person that didn’t want to be controlled but he knew deep down inside of him he was afraid of losing his soulmate over something stuped so he wanted to be alone.
Today was the day of Shirabu's 16th birthday. He was not excited at all because he knew this was deciding the rest of his life. He didn’t want to go to school that day because he knew Tendo would not let the soulmate thing go. Shirabu lazaly got up out of bed and went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror to see what stuped mark he got. When he looked it wasn’t strange but simple 💮 He saw the nark somewhere else but he couldn’t remember where he decided to use some of his mother’s make-up and cover it up. Then he got ready as usual and where he went down stars his mother asked him what his mark was but he just said it hadn't appeared but his mother knew he was lying but just went along with it. As he got to school like expected Tendo came to Shirabu and started the ramble
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIRA!!!!!!!!! WHAT’S YOUR SYMBOL”
Tendo said with a huge smile on his face
“Thanks Tendo and I don’t have a symbol yet”
Shirabu say back
“You know that I know your lying”
He say but this time with a serious face
“Ok, ok I will tell you but don’t tell anyone”
Shirabu say and wiping the make-up off

As Shirabu show Tendo the mark
“Ooooooh I know that symbol that’s Semi~San symbol too”
Tendo says with a smirk on his face
Damn it shirabu thought to himself that’s where he saw the mark
“Tendo please dont tell Semi please”
Shirabu begged Tendo not to tell
“Why not then you can get this over with Shira”
Tendo ask
“I really don't want to live through the rejection”
Shirabu said while looking down
“It will hurt to much”
He says
Shirabu had alway like the black tip 3rd year but he wasn’t go at showing it he’s fear of rejection was bad so he tried to just cover up his feelings by anger and disapproval but now he couldn’t do that the 3rd year setter was his soulmate and he couldn’t change that.
“Hey I will eventually tell semi but please don’t tell anyone else”
Shiarbu asked
“Fine but it better be soon”
Tendo said
After the conservation it was done it wasn’t long before everyone on the team wanted to know who the 1st years setter’s soulmate and tendo really wanted to scream it out but he couldn’t as shirabu shoved through his team to make his way to morning practice he came across his captain and ace Wakatoshi Ushijima.
“Hi captain how can I help you today”
Shirabu asked hoping he wouldn’t bring up the topic
“Your soulmate it’s Semi isn’t it?’’
He asked with straight face like aways
“But how did you find out”
Shirabu asked with a confusing face
“I could tell by you movement and the way you act towards Semi”
Ushijima said while warming up
“What you got all of that with just watching me and Semi”
Shirabu said in astonishment
“Yep”
He replied
“Well then can you not tell Semi though”
Shirabu asked
“Why? Why don’t you just ask him?”
Ushijima ask but with a puzzled look on his face he even stop warming up and that means he’s serious
Everyone knew that Ushijima wasn’t the best with love or anything in that department he mainly focuses on volleyball and Tendon. No one knows how those two got together.
“Well do you think that semi likes me back”
Shirabu ask because he did really want to know if semi liked him back
“You have to find out for yourself”
He said getting back to practices
“Oh come on not even a clue”
Shira wined
“A clue for what”
A voice said coming from behind it was Semi’s voice
“Nothing”
Shirabu said with a annoyed face and walked away
“You don’t have to rude, brat”
Semi yelled at shirabu
“Don’t be sad Semi~san shirabu just embarrassed”
Tendo says trying to comfort semi
“Yeah, yeah whatever”
Semi says annoyed
