Our first Christmas tale takes place in none other than your 2 bedroom apartment. Hot cocoa heating up on the stove while you waited for Hoseok to pick up the phone. It was your little Christmas tradition to drink hot cocoa together. But this year, Hoseok was promoting in the states for Christmas, which you admit made you cry at first, but you later saw that this was a great opportunity for him and the rest of Monsta X to get more known worldwide. "{Y/NNNNNN}!" You heard the sound of that all too familiar voice squealing your name, followed by his signature giggle that made your face light instantly. "Hoseokieeeee!" You responded, reaching for your mug. You poured the hot chocolate into the Christmas themed mug and held it to the camera. You noticed he was backstage and looked exhausted, so his show had probably just ended, so you knew the call would be short. "I made mine! Do you have yours?" You asked. Hoseok smiled and held up a Starbucks cup decorated with red and green stripes and a white cap. "Toasted Marshmallow Mocha!" He grinned and took a sip. "Nice! I just got regular chocolate." You said lifting your mug. He lifted his mug too for a virtual cheers before taking another sip. "How was your show?" You asked. "I tripped during one of the dances and I'm really hoping no one noticed... But Monbebe really catch everything!" He said, eyes widening at the second part. "They even caught my anime tiddies screensaver that one time! I had to change it!" He said, making you laugh. "Anime tiddies?!" You said in between giggles. "Yes! Really! And someone got a picture of it and it went viral! I saw so many memes!" He said. Hoseok kept you on FaceTime while he got his mics and makeup removed and you got to say hi to all the staff and some of the members. But soon it was time for them to go back to the hotel and Hoseok had to sleep in order to catch their early flight tomorrow. "I wish you could be here right now..." you said, quickly regretting your selfish words. He had a career and you needed to support it, but of course the thoughts of 'what if things were normal' slipped in your mind. "Babe, I want to be with you so bad. You have no idea." He said, you heard someone go 'OooOooOooo.' In the background and someone else started making kissy sounds. "Yah! Shut up!" Hoseok yelled at Jooheon and Minhyuk before finding a quieter place. "I just wish you were able to come on tour with us, but I know you have work and taking a three month leave isn't exactly ideal... but maybe next time. In the summer!" He said. "I don't know... I don't like planes that much. But you guys do have your private jet so- Hoseok are you crying?!" You asked, laughing at the sight of him wiping his eyes. "No! It's just I really miss you..." he said, leaning his head back and laughing with you. "Stop you're making me sad! Go be happy with Monbebe!" You said pouting at the screen. "I'll call you soon okay?" You said. "Okay. I love you." He said. "I love you two..." you responded, kissing the screen and then the call was over. Although your bed felt empty, it was a lot easier going to sleep that night knowing Hoseok would come home soon. And when he did get back, you were going to give him the biggest hug possible.
