~ Kellin's POV ~

The silent walk to the courtyard gave me time to think. I can't believe I'd flirted with her while she was in a relationship. I mean, I know that I had no clue, but I felt a little guilty. Besides that, I felt like I wanted to punch a wall. I was really starting to like her. I know we just met and all, but she's just so... perfect...

I sighed softly and tried not to look at her too much in fear that she'd see the hurt in my eyes.

~ Skye's POV ~

I looked around the empty courtyard. He didn't look at me as I sat next to him. He just looked at his shoes as though there was something bothering him.

"What's wrong?" I put my hand on his shoulder and leaned against him softly.

He sighed quietly to himself, but I heard. "Nothing. I'm alright."

I could hear the lie on the tip of his tongue. The slight quiver at then end of the sentence. I brought his face up and made him look at me.

"You don't actually think I believe that, do you?" I said looking at him sternly, but gentle, in the eyes. "Now tell me... what has you bothered?"

He looked back at his shoes and then back to my eyes. "I just thought... that you were... single, is all. I didn't know, and if I had I would have never flirted with you." He looked like he was actually sorry.

I know it was a serious moment, but I just couldn't help it. I burst out laughing and he looked at me like I was crazy.

"You think this is funny?!" He damn near shouted. "Whatever." He got up to leave and I tried to stop laughing.

"Kellin... wait! I'm not dating Mike! I'm not dating anyone!" He stopped to look at me as I was calming down from my laughing fit.

"Then... why did he kiss you?"

I smiled. "He has a crush on me, but I don't think its that serious. I mean come on, its Mike. He's all about fuck bitches, drink whiskey. I think he just has some feelings and wants to get into my panties, but no. I would never let him. I mean..." I looked at him and he was trying not to laugh. "What?!" I asked looking at myself.

"Nothing. Its just... you're rambling. Its cute." He smiled.

I rolled my eyes and stood up. "Listen, we should hangout tonight. The guys have a band practice and Vic said you're pretty cool, so I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you tagged along."

"They're in a band?! No way! That's so awesome." He looked at me like he was a little puppy and I'd just fed him the biggest bone he'd ever seen. I smiled at his childishness.

"I can give you a ride, if you want. Where do you live?"

"I live at 77 Oakwood Drive. Its near the pet store off of Stonebrook."

"Ohhh okay! I know where that is!" At the same time the bell rang. "Come on mister. Back to SS."

He smiled as he got real close to me and put on a seductive smile. "Anything you say, Miss. Radke." He walked away leaving me speechless, and completely breathless.

I looked at his frame as he walked off. "That boy is something else..." I whispered to myself.

*******

I sighed annoyed at Mike. Its 3:30 and he has band practice at 4:00. He's late and a half hour wasn't much time to talk. I looked at the clock. 3:40.
