5. Dinner

(Tom talking will be in bold) (Harrison in italics)

Harrison and Tom look over at me laughing at them and they both say, "menu log?"

"Yes, I think so."

Tom grabs out his phone and asks what everyone wants from dominos, i said cheese and Harrison said meat lovers.

"Ok order done!"

"Now to wait!"

"We should watch a Christmas movie!" Harrison pipes up

"Yes!"

Tom walks over to the couch and grabs the tv remote.

"Brooklyn you can choose."

"It should be a group choice not just me."

"So, Tom, Brooklyn what do you guys wanna watch?"

"The grinch!" Tom and I looked at each other and gave each other a high five. Harrison, Tom, and I sat down on the couch and got comfortable. I started to think about Christmas and before I realised it Tom and Harrison were yelling out my name.

"Brooklyn!"

"Brooklyn!"

"Oh yeah sorry what?"

"You alright?"

"Yeah, just thinking about Christmas and how boring it is here!"

"Yeah, Tom you gotta admit for Christmas Time it's pretty boring here."

"I know, I was gonna take Brooklyn shopping tomorrow for stuff, she lives here to."

"Good!"

I heard a knock at the door, and I raced over to see who it was. I started smelling the delicious scent of dominos cheese pizza. I opened the door and took the food from the delivery guy.

"Guys! Foods here!"

Tom and Harrison jumped over the couch to get to their pizzas, Tom grabbed his pepperoni pizza, Harrison grabbed his meat lovers and I grabbed my delicious cheese pizza. Harrison looked over at me while Tom finds the grinch on Netflix.

"Brooklyn?"

"What's up?"

"What's it like for you to be away from your family at Christmas?"

"It's normal now that basically most of my childhood was at movie premieres for my dad and modelling shows for my mum, being away from my family."

"Wait were you home schooled?"

"Yes, for elementary (primary for aussies out there), but then not for high school."

"That sounds like your childhood sucked."

"It was alright."

Me, Tom, and Harrison started singing you're a mean one Mr grinch. After everyone finished their pizzas, Harrison looked at the ground sadly.

"Are you alright Haz?"

"Yeah, just realised once I leave tomorrow to go back to England, I won't be able to see you both till after lockdown."

Tom and Harrison hugged each other.

"That's really sad."

"I'll miss you buddy!"

Once the sad part of our night was over, Harrison chooses to watch the impossible. Tom groaned in embarrassment as Harrison, and I high fived each other.

"Why Haz why!"

"Love you to tommy!"

I burst out laughing as Tom buried his head into a pillow, I patted his hand.

"It'll be alright Tommy!"

"No, it won't!"

"We won't make fun of you to much!"

Harrison bursts out laughing as Tom dies of embarrassment, I looked over at the tv and see little Tom.

"Haz look! It's baby tommy!"

"I wasn't a baby!"

"Tom shut up! You were!"
