Chapter five

Finally it was Sunday. Where would be the best place to find out about your past. Hmmmm~. Ah! Maybe the adoption agency. I thought as I got out of bed. I'll just grab something to eat on the way. I took a quick shower and got ready to go. Quickly doing my h/l h/c hair and throwing on some clothes. Maybe today I'll get some answers. I grabbed my bag and put my shoes on. Walking out the front door. Making sure to lock it behind me. Today I will find something out! I swear to it. I begin walking towards my destination. Man was it hot out today. I hate the heat, but I also hate the cold. You know what I just hate outside in general. (Lol I literally hate leaving my house. But umm I have to work so I have to leave😭) finally arriving at the adoption agency I head inside.
"Hello miss how can we help you?" A lady at the front desk asked.
"H-h-hello, I was wondering if I could find out information on my adoption?" I asked looking down at my feet.
"Oh! Ok follow me this way to our office." she stated with tons of happiness in them. Wow she kind of had a bubbly personality. I follow her into the office.
"Have a seat please. And what is your full name and age. Along with date of birth"
" my name is l/n, y/n. I'm 16 and my birthday is _____" (fill in yours lmao) I say still looking at the ground.
"Ok thank you! I'll begin looking for a file. Would you like us to print what we find? Or email it?"  She asked
"Ah, umm print is fine." Hopefully they find out something.
"Hmmm, looks like we don't have a lot of info on your adoption here. We just have an address of possible place of birth. No parents on the birth certificate. No official date of birth either." Wait, what? No official birth. Or parents? What does that mean.
"How can I n-n-not of parents?" I begin to get teary eyed.
"Some do not like to disclose in case the child tries to find them. I'll print out the file for you. If you'd like to find out more information. I would recommend going to this address on the file that states they picked you up from."
"O-o-ok, thank you" she hands me the print outs and walks me out.
"I hope you find the answers your looking for, if you have anymore questions come back anytime." She says with a sweet smile.
"T-t-thank you, a-and I-I will"
I walk away and look at the address. Hmm that's outside of town. I'll stop at the convenient store first. I begin walking in that direction. Cars driving by. Families laughing. It was all too loud for me. I pull my headphones out and begin to listen to music. I draw closer to the little convenient store. I head in and look around as to what I'll eat. Hmm what looks good. I might just get instant ramen. As I'm lost in thought as what to buy. I don't hear the other people talking behind me.
"Whoa dude check that chick out. She's got wings. And some long ass ears" first weirdo says
"I dare you to touch her wings" the second one says
"No way dude. I dare you to ask for her number."
"Fine watch how smooth I am."
As I'm still lost in thought I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see a dude behind me. I take out a headphone and look at him.
"Huh?" Confused at this point ready to put in my headphone.
"Your just so beautiful I couldn't help myself but come over and ask for your number. What do you say cutie?" Huh?! He what now? I eternally screamed. Yes! Someone thinks I'm cute, thank god finally T_T.
"I-I! U-umm sure!" I stuttered
"Haha as if, my friend just dared me. Your a total freak. No way would I ever want your number!" He laughs in my face. I begin to get teary eyed.
"I-I'm s-s-sorry" I start crying and run out of the l convenient store. As I'm exciting I run into someone.
"Oof" the person says.
"S-sorry" I whisper still looking down as tears stream down my face.
"Oh it's fine! Don't worry about it! Haha." I recognized the voice.
"Sero?" I say while looking up. He looks back down at me.
"Oh! Y/n. Where have you been? We've been worried that you ran away or something. Oh wait why are you crying??" I realized I was crying and try to push past him to run away.
"Umm b-b-bye Sero I'll see you m-m-Monday." I try to get around him he grabs my arm.
"What's wrong?" He asks. I panicked and basically screamed at him.
"D-DONT TOUCH M-M-Me! IM JUST A FREAK!" I begin to run away only to hear foot steps behind me. I really should just fly away. But I'm wearing a skirt today. That would be so embarrassing. I finally get tired and stop running catching my breath.
"Why'd you say that?" Sero was behind me. I begin to fall. Breaking down onto my knees. Dying from embarrassment.
"S-s-sorry" I managed to get out between choppy breaths.
"You don't have to apologize. And your not a freak why would you think that?" He asks. 
"I-I-I.." I begin to say.
"You what?" I explained what just happened back at the store.
"I'll kill him! Why would someone do that. That's so mean!!" He says standing up getting ready to go fight them.
"S-Sero it's fine, I've heard it my whole life" I whispered.
"That's not ok! Your not a freak at all your actually quit beautiful!" I look up at him. His face was bright red.
"W-what did you s-s-say?"
"Uhh never mind. Anyways what are you up to?" He quickly changed the subject.
"I'm going out looking around. W-w-want to come?" I shyly ask.
"Sure!"
