Next couple of days were uneventful. Her bruises lessened but were still here and her period stopped. Thank God.

When I woke up in the Saturday morning her spot was already cold. I got up and took a quick shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed. I walked down stairs to see Maze sitting at the kitchen table with a bunch of papers around her and a laptop in front of her. She was on the phone and she was angry. I kissed her forehead and took myself a cup of coffee. When I looked at my phone I saw it was nine thirty in the morning. Wow. It's been a while since I slept that long. She hung up and banged her head on the table.

"I work with so many stupid people." – She murmured at the floor. I walked to her and sat next to her.

"What's up, Kitten."

"Oh, you know. The usual. I ask for one thing they do the other. I say go left they go right. I say go take this case they take whatever fucking case they want and fuck it up. Yeah, the usual. I don't know how I'm able to run the most successful lawyers company with this idiots." – She said still talking to the floor.

"Let me see your face." – I said softly touching her chin. She sat straight and looked at me. Left half of her face was blue three days ago but now only a shade of yellow and green and her lip finally looked normal.

"It looks worse than it actually is. It's just the colour now." – She said.

"Does it hurt much?"

"My ribs hurt only when I laugh or try to bend or something like that. But otherwise I don't feel any sort of pain. I'm fine, really. I had a lot worse than this." – Yeah, I believed her. She turned her head to all of the papers at the table and started working again.

"You won't go to work today?" – I asked.

"Oh, no. I'm not going to work until my face looks normal. I won't lie like 'I fell down the stairs.' I'll just work from home." – She said not taking her eyes off the papers. I got up and walked up to change into swimsuit. Yeah, she has a pool in her penthouse and up on the roof. The roof was designed to be a terrace but she changed one part of it into a pool. She really has a lot of money.

I swam for two hours and I could for two more but I went to see how's Maze holding up. I think Maze expects me to run away any minute now but the truth is that right now I need to stay. She needs me although she doesn't know that. And I will be here for her.

I was walking past her to get a glass of water when she yelled.

"Oh, fuck my ass!" – I couldn't help myself and I took an opportunity.

"Later, if you'll be good." – I whispered and kissed her forehead then walked into the kitchen. To be honest I was thinking about it for a while now. I really did wanted to fuck her ass. She looked up at me and saw me grinning. Her eyes turned a shade darker and her pupils dilated. I wasn't grinning anymore. My cock hardened because of her look and I cleared my throat. When I looked from the kitchen over to Maze I saw her grinning down at her papers. How can she do that to me by just one look? She literally just looked at me and now I'm hard. How can she turn the tables so easily?

"Hey, Maze? Want something to drink? You must be thirsty." – Aaron said to her. She looked at him warily.

"Yes, thank you. Water would be fine." – She said slowly, eyeing him. He took one glass and when he poor water he opened a pack of something and put it inside. I looked at him and he grinned at me and put his index finger to his lips telling me to be quiet. She took the drink and downed it.

"Thank you." – She said to Aaron. He just grinned at her and nodded. A few minutes passed and she started squirming and wiggling on the chair.

"Kitten, you okay?" – I was careful.
