Chapter 20

At Zelena's farmhouse, Robin was crying in the next room and Zelena was getting her bottle ready.

"Hang on a minute, darling. Mommy's coming. I'm going as fast as I can," She tested the milk on her wrist, "There. Not too hot and not too cold just right," The crying stopped, "Is somebody ready for their breakfast?" Zelena walked out of the kitchen to find the Robin wasn't in her crib, "Robin?" Zelena said as she started to panic.

The Black Fairy stepped out as she held Robin in her arms, "Keeping a watchful eye on an infant can be so hard all by yourself. But worry not. I have plenty of experience, and I am happy to help," The Black Fairy said.

"Give me back my daughter," Zelena said as she took back her baby.

"Oh, can't I hold her a little longer? I never grow tired of that new-baby smell," The Black Fairy said.

"Lay a hand on her again and you'll lose it," Zelena said.

"Oh, no need to be so hostile, especially around the child," She chuckled, "I came here because I heard you were wicked, and I thought we could help each other," The Black Fairy said.

Zelena laughed softly, "Why would I help you?" Zelena said.

"Oh, isn't it obvious? Look around. You're out here, living alone in the middle of nowhere. You look like you could use a friend, especially with the Final Battle approaching. I could be that friend. One wouldn't want to be alone for what's coming," The Black Fairy said.

"Is that a threat? Because I'm not afraid of you," Zelena said.

"Oh, but you should be. You most certainly should be," She laughed evilly and gave smooches to the baby, "I'll be in the dwarf tunnels if you change your mind. Until then," The Black Fairy said before she disappeared in smoke.

Later, Calista and Naomi walked into the sheriff's station and Emma looked at Calista.

"Cali... Can I have a word before Zelena tells us what she needs to?" Emma said.

"Are you telling me you're going to kill my son?" Calista asked.

"No," Emma said.

"Then we can talk," Calista said and walked into Emma's office with her.

Emma shut the door and they looked at each other, "The Final Battle, it's not against your son, it's against your mother in law... Are you okay with that?" Emma asked.

"Yes," Calista said.

"Killian won't ask you but I know he wants to... Will you be there?" Emma asked.

"My brother is afraid to ask me if I'll make it to his wedding when my mother-in-law and son are in town?" Emma nodded, "I want to, but... I can't promise I can, but I can promise I will try," Calista said.

"That's all I want," Emma said and they hugged.

The two left the office and Zelena told them all about what happened with the Balck Fairy.
