Based off of the song 'Heather'

"Oh look, it's raining," Lisa pointed out, stopping just at the exit of their school, and Jennie stopped and looked at her rather than the thundering rain. She ignored the way the rain trickled over the side walk, turning the color darker than it was and how the sound was quite peaceful because it was her favorite kind of sound. No, she was looking at Lisa because she loves her.

A soft hum escaped Jennie's lips when she looked forward, shivering as the gust of wind brushed through her body,

"Yeah, it is." She felt Lisa's deep brown eyes stray to her and she hoped that Lisa would wrap her arms around her and hold her close. The steady beat of Lisa's heart sounded better than the gentle sounds of the cold falling water hitting the hard pavement.

And yet, it wasn't. Lisa's heart never raced. Not even once.

Jennie met her eyes and smiled, "I'm guessing you didn't bring an umbrella either?" A soft chuckled slipped from Lisa's pretty smile as she shook her head and looked back forward again. The gloomy light of the day illuminated Lisa's skin and Jennie shivered again but not from the cold, but from the beauty Lisa had. She really loves her.

Suddenly, Lisa's eyes shined brighter than the sky and smiled a smile that caused Jennie's heart to skip a beat, but only to crack soon afterwards. Just like the sky, Jennie's heart cried.

"What're you two doing just standing here? The rain won't kill you," her sister teased, smiling their way as she walked past them and into the rain. Lisa's body stiffened from Jennie's peripheral vision and she knew that her best friend was mesmerized.

"Irene looks cold," Lisa whispered as her beautiful doe eyes stayed rooted on her older sister. And to make matter worse, Lisa slid off her jacket and left Jennie standing there, alone, cold and broken.

Jennie felt like dying as Lisa placed her jacket over Irene's shoulder.

Her sister.

Lisa liked her sister better.

Jennie wished she was Irene.

"It's almost Christmas, are you excited?" Lisa asked, dropping her bag on the floor along with herself. She leaned her back against the edge of the smaller ones bed and beamed up at her best friend.

Jennie would have smiled just as bright if she didn't know the reason for Lisa's excitement. Playfully rolling her sharp eyes, Jennie forced a light laugh as she sat on floor just next to Lisa.

"You're only excited cause you'll be spending it with my family. Aka, Irene." It physically caused an ache to occur in her chest to say that. The ache doubled its effect, however, when a soft blush caressed Lisa's pale cheeks. Those doe eyes playfully glared down at her. Lisa lifted her hand and pinched Jennie's cheeks,

"Shut up my baby mandu. You know I'm just as excited to be spending Christmas with you too," she teased and laughed as Jennie groaned in pain. Emotionally and physically.

Jennie pouted as she pushed Lisa's hands away, which only caused Lisa to squeal and hug her tightly.

"You are the cutest thing in the world, I swear." And yet, she didn't love her the same way.

Suddenly Lisa gasped and gripped onto Jennie's arms and pushed her gently,

"Let's go shopping! I have to find a gift for Irene and since you're her sister, you'll know what she'll like!" Lisa was excited. She was so excited as she was standing up and checking the money in her wallet and Jennie was dying as she forced a smile,
