It was an accident the way we meet. At least that's what I'd tell everyone when they ask how we actually met. Luke isn't the "average" teenager. He has autism. People treat him differently. He is babied by some, and bullied by others. No one sees how he feels. No one. He has a few friends, but they don't seem to care. His parents are overprotective. His brothers are too involved with their lives. He is lonely and nobody understands. He doesn't see the worth he has. He sees himself as strange and pathetic. He has too many secrets. Luke needs someone. Someone that will lift him up, and tell him how much he's worth it. Someone that will understand him, and always be there for him. But he thinks there's no one out there that would care for someone like him. He's ready to give up. Until Calum

Calum once thought if you didn't have love you had nothing but once his dad left and his sisters boyfriend left her for another guy he decided that love was a lie and a complete waste of time. Luke is the kind of guy who thinks you need love to make the world go around and has never doubted it so what will he do when he learns about Calum and his beliefs. Nobody knows that the person he was meant to be wasn't matching up with his outside form. Even after Gay marriage had become legal, too many people in the state of Louisiana didn't understand homosexuality and where against anything to do with it. Now after several years of the transphobic world desecrating transsexuals and the whole LGBT community, he can't bear to be alone, even if it means lying to everyone he loves.
