One year... 12 months... 365 days.... 525,600 minutes... but it feels like an eternity without seeing your face, your smile, your laugh, or hearing your guitar in the middle of the nights. My best friend for a short 16 years, but a grateful 16 years. I stare out into the dark night; I can see the stars and I know he is somewhere up there. Every little girls dream of becoming a famous pop star touring the world. Emilyn Jacobson got just what her and her dad always dreamed about, but after finally being away from her small town for so long, she has adapted to her new world. The past was too much; it was keeping her back, but will returning home remind her of everything that use to be hers. I no longer was little southern girl Emilyn Jacobson; I was famous pop star Emilyn. And I guess when you move on everyone else does too. I got to live my dream, I became the girl my dad and I always dreamed I would become, but he died and I had to live that dream on my own. We get to choose who we love and what we want to be, but we don't get the choice to make people stay.
