Elise lived her whole life under the deep blue sea. But her being a mermaid was dangerous, she had to stay away from the beings that roamed the land, because Elise and other mermaids would be the victims of it all, their blood was intoxicating to vampires and most importantly, the bite of a werewolf could turn them into one and they could become hybrids. She was growing bored and tired hiding away in the water and not being able to explore what land has to offer. Was it smart of her to wish she can be a mermaid walker? ( A mermaid walker is when mermaids are able to shift into human form at will.) It had its pros and cons, a pro is she found her soul mate Conner a werewolf.
