Fourth and final book in my First ️Newsies series. While Brooklyn and Blink are still selling papes as Newsies, something is brewing between Spot and Blink. Blink has become pretty protective over Brooklyn. He doesn't want Spot to hurt her. But will something happen to make Spots feelings go away? Much more Blinklyn, a few new characters, some Crutzie, and a few plot twists. There is one thing that bonds these two young newsies together. Love.

Dreamer. Courageous. Fearful and fearless. Bravery. Leader. Fighter. Taking place in New York in 1899, this is the story of Brooklyn Kelly, AKA Brooks. A 14 year old Newsie with long luscious curly brown hair and wonderous blue eyes. 5 years ago, Brooklyn and her brother, Jack escaped the refuge to become newsies. That has been their lives ever since. Brooklyn doesn't really talk much. But when she meets Blink, a newsboy her age, they have a close bond that just keeps getting closer. With a broken ankle on crutches for 4 months and taken back to the refuge again, only to escape the next day, Brooklyn has faced a lot in her short life. But when the price rises for the papers, Blink and Brooklyn will not stand for it. With the help of newsie groups all across New York, Brooklyn and Blink lead the strike that creates a blockade all the way across Brooklyn Bridge and is the headline of many papers. Being the only girl newsie besides one, Spritz, Brooklyn goes from being a shy girl who barely spoke a full sentence, to a strong and brave leader standing up for what she feels is her right. Brooklyn soon learns that it's not a bad life, carrying the banner, as long as you have your friends by your side.
