He, unlike Matthew is a social butterfly and seems to have the ideal life of a college student, apart from one thing, he is failing his classes. After the two meet Matthew made it his personal mission to tutor Alfred.The only person other than teachers at Garrison College that knew Matthew existed was Alfred and that meant a lot to him. Alfred spent every second he could with him and even though Matthew was insistent that Alfred didn't pay him a dime, this kind of made up for it. The two seemed to get along over the few things they had in common, their unsettling family situations and their love for coffee. They both agreed to meet every day together for coffee at three pm. The two opposites could possibly help each other fix their problems, find out in "Coffee at Three".
