The year is 2050. The oceans are drowning the world, and humanity is desperate. The drill breaches the lithosphere, and the water level drops five feet in an hour. Humanity cheers. Marcus is a hero. But the relief is a mirage. Gru's World: On a Mission is a 50 page satire/parody of the franchise "Despicable Me". The book is in a absurdist post-apocalyptic setting, after Gru goes on a mission to destroy all life. The book has a mixture of characters from "Despicable Me" and completely new original characters. Gru finally loses faith in humanity, since most people don't know, what the phrase "I will stuff you all in the crust" means. Gru proceeds to take literal giant pieces of crust and crushes people in it. The crust takes over them, and Gru builds his crust army. A resistance rises up against Gru. A war has just begun.
