I started writing to improve my typing skills. Now I type to improve my writing.

Time for an update. I'm not a writer. I don't aspire to become one. I've been a story teller all my life though (just ask any of my teachers!). In the late '80s I inherited a DOS computer (remember those) and I found I needed to practice my typing skills. I wrote Stars over a period of about 6 months after reading a Native American story about the origins of the Crane Clan. I never showed it to anyone. It was in a drawer on a 5.25 floppy for a few years, then a 3.5 disk, then a CD ROM, and later it took up residence on an external hard drive. Occasionally I would open it up and read it, correct a spelling error or 2 and put it away.

In January, 2017, I discovered Wattpad. I updated a few of the tech references and started publishing. The responses were encouraging, so I started entering the SciFi Challenges. A couple entries have done well enough to keep me going. I write now for fun, but it's more fun if you enjoy reading my tales.
