Adriana Reyes has had a tough life in short. She contented herself with no strings attached dating with boys and girls. Well for them it was strings attached. Her... not so much. Then with a cruel anniversary of her mother's death that she almost forgets. Its torture despite it having been more then a year ago. Adriana just can't seem to let go of the past. She's lost and in her home she feels forgotten. Nobody knows but her best friend. Then things start changing and maybe she can feel something more then the numbness she's been enveloped in since her mother's death. (P.S this isn't a story where the boy/girl is going to fix her. (This story is an excerpt from my book: Looking for happiness? Look inside) Material possessions can never bring us lasting happiness. The more we have, the more we want, and any material possession that we mistake for our happiness simply creates in us the fear of losing it. No object has "objective" value; the value of things exists only in our heads. Gold or diamonds have no more value than exactly what someone is ready to pay for them. If suddenly most people decided that gold and diamonds were worthless, they would totally lose their value. And, let's be honest: except gemologists and other experts, most mortals are unable to tell cubic zirconia from real diamonds - value is a creation of the mind. Furthermore, the only "quality" of such minerals is their relative scarcity. If someone could produce low-cost gold and diamonds in a laboratory, then their value would be equal to that of any mineral available in abundance, such as iron or copper...

I have always wanted to write a book but I seem to never follow through so I just create little excerpts that I have no idea what to do with. So I'm going to put them here. I can't usually come up with a plot for any of these excerpts so please feel free to let these ideas come to life in your writing.

Sometimes all i hope for is it let go and not leave at the same while... , emotions do kick in... but the best form of theatrics is not to feel anything at all... This one has been in me for a while until i vent this out here... read and have fun.
