Two heroes become three, but against them are all the foes from your worst nightmares. Their goal is to save a girl, but they end up forced to save a world. From the depths of a dungeon, to the strange Isle of World's End, known simply as Chenga; Nirgalen, Simarl and Eylana Visharl, are thrown into a world of half-human creatures, and the twisting plots of the clan known only as the Kula-Mar. Unsure of who they can trust, and whether they can even trust themselves, The Three have the whole world against them. Amidst all this, there are rumours of a creature that travels only by night and snatches away the souls of the young and defenceless. Fabled in legends, as the Wampyr, is the creature a vampire, is it what it seems, and does it even exist? In a post-apocalyptic world of half-people and half-truths, there is some deeper meaning beginning to unfold. Dark creatures from The Void begin to appear...deadly assassins from beyond the world we can see. To defeat the creatures from The Void, the only choice is to travel through time itself. Our heroes follow hints of Prophecies and a twisting trail of deceit, to unearth the truth and bring peace to a troubled world. Trapped on the prison island of Chenga, Kirad Nirgalen begins to discover the true nature of his people- The Djara. Shapeshifters, demons or angels, who knows what the Djara are. Spies and assassins, with skills that were the stuff of legend, that is all that the old stories tell of the Djara. Seeking the whereabouts of Nirgalen, is a vampire from another universe. When vampire and shapeshifting Djara come together, the fate of the world will be decided. From the ashes of a world brought low by disaster, the Shardahn Temple will rise once again: its aim to destroy the dark powers that have sucked the world dry. Shapeshifters, demons, angels and vampires come together to fight creatures of The Void and a dark Lord, known only as Baal.

The Djara, Nirgalen, seeks to find the true meaning of Tau, and the power it can bring. Travelling back through time, he sets in place the series of events that lead to his own creation. The Nephilim and descendants of Lilith are the seeds that sow a harvest of doom, to bring on The End Times. Angels, demons and vampires, bring destruction and rebirth. Chasing Nirgalen through Time are Agents of The Void, who seek to manipulate the world to suit their own ends. The Agents of The Void do not want Nirgalen to succeed. Will Djara and Tau become one, or will The Jaws of The Void finally close on all of existence? Only Time... and Tau, will tell.
