14 year old Amber Tarlonson had the perfect life. She had two loving parents, good grades, and a lot of friends. Then one day her father never came home from the grocery store, and her life was never the same. Her mom had her transferred from their hometown in San Diego to a boarding in Dallas. Her whole life had been turned upside-down. That was 2 years ago. Now she's 16 and still struggling to forget her awful past. But despite her spiraling mental health, she's found a way to cope, her tape and glue: drugs and partying. It's the only way to forget her problems. But what will happen if someone finds out about her little addiction? Could it make her turn over a new leaf? Or will it make her mind darker than it already is? Read to find out!
