It began with a fling... ...and it ended with forever

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse... Katherine Shalazar has only ever wanted life out of the confines of her home in Santoff Claussen. A life of adventure, of visiting new places, and meeting new people. Instead, she will have to settle for finishing school. At least, it seems so until her older brother arrives with the most unusual gift - a rather ugly doll. Katherine finds the doll interesting, and there is something most certainly familiar about his eyes. When she is attacked in the ballroom, she learns that he is not quite a doll, and he needs her help - to break the curse upon him and help find the missing prince.

Katherine knows their is something strange about Burgess, but she can't put her finger on it. Could finally meeting Jack Frost put all the pieces together? Finding out the truth, however, is harder than expected and it will take the both of them working together to find and accept what they learn.

This is a rewrite of another book. Each Kingdom/District will reap 60 tributes, 30 males and 30 females, in between the ages of 10 and 19, to fight in three separate games against each other. Then two winners, a male and a female from each Kingdom, will be reaped to fight in the Finale, against the victors of the other games, in which five makes and five females will again survive, not to be bothered again, along with the four males and four females from the District games. This is heavily based off of the Hunger Games.
