“I don’t want to get hurt again.” I mumbled mostly to myself, but Andrew being Andrew heard every word loud and clear. His face became soft and he looked like he was over flowing with guilt. He looked at me with a hurt look, but not for himself, for me. “I’m so sorry Hails.” He whispered. “What’s done is done Andrew, there is no going back. If I could go back, I’d change so many things.” I whispered that last part. “Would you change meeting me?” he asked me, I shook my head unable to answer. “Why not?” “Because, you taught me a lifelong lesson.” I told him. “What’s that lesson?” he asked leaning forward in his seat. “Never fall in love.”
