Elsabeth is a young thirteen year old girl adopted by the Ackerman's who live in a poor farming town. In 1898, where dark skinned peoples are still considered less than human it's a wonder that anyone adopted her at all with her Native and ex-slave blood running through her veins. It's no paradise though. Not with her sister taking any chance she can to cause trouble and her mother who would beat her just because she's "bored". Elsabeth swears she can take this, it could be worse after all, but when the mysterious farm cat begins to speak to her she realizes that she's much more powerful than anyone would have guessed. *I wish I had a cat to take pictures of.... so yeah. That cat's not mine... wish they were though*

Marjorie Goodwin is the Baitman's daughter. Left introverted and sensitive after her mother's death three years ago Jorie did not become the outdoorsy daughter her father had always wanted. With first semester exams coming soon Jorie had better things to do than work the counter at her father's bait shop. Things in her peaceful little life get turned upside down, however, when a suspicious stranger strolls into Goodwin's Fishn'Bait looking as if he's just time traveled from the 1920s; wanderlusting eyes, fancy get up and all. Jorie can't help but feel that this guy isn't from around anywhere near her small Georgia town. Soon enough, though, Jorie would find out that this stranger wasn't even from Earth. Calling himself William Wilkilgon and finding out the hard way that it's not actually the 1920s, Will finds himself in need of help. Who better to do that than the honorable gal who saved him from exposing his secret. William is an alien, yes, but he's a sweetheart with good intentions, so Jorie helps get this seventeen-hundred year old alien assimilated to the new world he wasn't expecting to wake up in. Now responsible for the "new kid on the block" Jorie is in for adventure she never hoped would find her. But when shady government investigators take up shop next door looking for an alien, or maybe even a few, to finally capture Jorie and William's relationship takes a more serious turn for, not only is she now responsible for helping him fit in, she's responsible for his life. His future is in her hands and somewhere amongst their secrecy Jorie and William fall dangerously in love. Follow Jorie and William in their story of trying to stay low, stay cool, and stay normal, failing miserably and saving each others butts. A/N: places, times, fictional facts, people, plot.... all of it is made up, it's all fiction. Please excuse all the tweaks that I have made in order to create a fictitious setting and clean storyline. Thank you and enjoy.

Three shadows in the night. Three boys desperate to prove themselves. Smart. Strong. Loyal. Ready. They hope. Loosely based on the border reivers of the anglo-scottish border in the middle and dark ages. NOT HISTORICALLY ACCURATE.

Yeonu Ahn's character is NOT supposed to be like this. From what she read in her past life, Yeonu is just supposed to be the cheeky, adorable, and innocent younger sister of the male protagonist in the magic/fantasy novel, "The General's Five Blossoms"! So then why is she (currently living as that same Yeonu) stuck in the Royal Army and pretending to be a man, in the place where her brother was originally supposed to be gathering the five lovely mistresses for his harem?! ...Fine. When life gives you lemons, right? Just as Yeonu decides to accept her fate and reap the material benefits of working in the army so she can retire early without having to lift a finger later in life... Who are these important men popping up from the novel that were only mentioned once? Why do they all end up flocking to her side like she's the real protagonist?! And what's this about sudden war tensions between nations?!?! Has the novel gone mad????? Please...! You've got the wrong guy (girl)!
