This Story is about a Goth Emo Girl named Raven. She's picked on everyday, always being told to drop dead so one day she decides to. Her Friend Blane is secretly in love with her and he tries to convince her not to kill herself, by stalling her death.

Charlotte Hayes is the newest student in Class 11-D and she's determined to keep to herself. She has no interest in making friends at her new high school, and she definitely doesn't want to go on the upcoming class trip into the mountains. In fact, she hides the trip from her parents entirely, hoping to avoid it altogether. But things don't go as planned. Ezekiel Moreno, the loud, nosy class clown who just happens to live next door "acidentally" lets Charlotte's parents know about the trip. Thinking it will help her come out of her shell, they insist she goes. Reluctantly, Charlotte boards the bus with 27 other students, not knowing that this trip will be anything but ordinary. Upon arrival, their homeroom teacher, Mr. Warren, splits the class into four groups of seven. Charlotte finds herself in an "interesting" group: Lyle Williams, the class "nerd"; the inseparable twins, Noah and Katherine Clark; the popular girl, Skylar Morgan; the unfortunately named Ben Dover; and of course, Ezekiel Moreno himself. Each group is assigned to share a cabin. With the students given free time to explore, warned not to wander too far, Ezekiel drags Charlotte along with the group. He cracks jokes at Noah's grumpy expression and can't resist poking fun at Ben's name. But the laughter quickly fades when they stumble upon something strange: a perfectly square clearing in the middle of the forest that is unnaturally empty, no trees, no grass, just barren ground. And when they step into it... things start to change. Strange things. No one expected what this trip would become.

The unkindled are called when the first flame is threatened, and it is their duty to reignite it. Some, however, aren't cut out for such tasks. Some are there to play a more supportive role in the great quest of the undead. One such being is Edgar, an undead swordsman in the cemetery of ash. He is not a skilled fighter, barely able to fight a hollow on his own, but he has a bright smile and hope for the future, despite how bleak the world may be. Edgar waits in the fire link shrine, ready to help the ashen one in any way they can. But while they are waiting, a certain maiden cstches his eye...
