Tony Stark was never Iron Man. He was never a hero, never anything except 'genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist'. The only thing he was, was a broken man with a hunk of metal embedded in his chest, broken even further when he ended up the victim of a near-fatal car crash after a fight with Steve Rodgers, the leader of the Avengers. Stephen Strange is a doctor with broken hands, his career ripped from his shaky grasp when he is thrown out of a hospital window and buried under half a building. Distraught, in pain, and desperate, Stephen tries his hardest to recover, turning a blind eye to every fruitless attempt. Until he learns of Kamar-Taj and meets a man named Tony Stark. Both men feel as if they are broken beyond repair, never to be whole again, and never to be loved. What happens, then, when an ordinary man literally running on batteries and a doctor who lost his work, his life, begin to mend each other? Picking up the pieces, binding the shards of metal and glass with the romance slowly blooming between them?
