One day he meets the village loner Arthur Kirkland, an eight year old boy and youngest of his three elder brothers, setting off on the wrong foot a rivalry soon blooms between the two. He was always told how strange the Brit was, but he never believed how how peculiar he could be when the two grow closer. Alfred Jones was Arthur's best friend ever since grade school but never knew much about Arthur's family except that his parents died. Alfred was deeply in love with Arthur and would do anything to be his hero. Arthur also has to deal with these people he hold dear; The obsessed. The sadist. The admirer. And; The lover.
