In one universe, Will Graham finds himself sitting across from Special Agent Dale Cooper in the Double R Diner, learning about the murder of Laura Palmer. And it's over a cup of coffee, of course. - "You alright there, friend?" "I'm fine," Graham had grumbled. This was despite the other man speaking with the kind of attitude Cooper imagined was befitting a sleepwalker woken early. The veil had been pulled away. A heavy wool blanket pulled swiftly off in the chill of winter. Goosebumps rising. Not, not fine at all. Severely discontented. Needs coffee and good conversation to warm him up, maybe. - (It came to me recently that Will Graham needs to experience the Black Lodge. Originally posted on AO3, this is my work.)

Based on the finale of the 2017 Return... 1. Spoilers Obviously 2. Just be warned that the story of the original series revolves around a murdered girl who was abused by someone close to her... and there's a supernatural/ creepy element... I wrote this to work through the finale... it was a doozy.

Or, at least, their world. But one day, something goes wrong. 10 stories bring fear, hurt, determination, curiosity, individuality, brokenness, anger, sadness, jealousy and trouble itself to the forefront as they see the culmination of their actions and their feelings all at the center. Different worlds, dimensions and places come together, time and time again. Is it future or is it past? One cannot say for sure where they begin or where they end. It's like the ancient phrase: We are like the dreamer who dreams and then lives inside a dream. But... who is the dreamer?

from a week before laura's death to agent cooper's mysterious disappearance, here's my own spin on the story of laura palmer. i do not own any of the characters used in this book, and this is not entirely accurate. i'm going to tell the story with some of my own twists to it. there are LOTS of spoilers in this, so if you haven't finished the series yet and don't want it to be spoiled, please do not read this until you finish it. -lyn xx

Madeleine Ferguson looked like Laura Palmer. That much was true. In fact, they often shared thoughts, sometimes even dreams. But that all changed when Laura died. While Maddy was in Twin Peaks for her cousins funeral, strange things started to happen. Someone was in her dreams. Someone was sending her a message. But who? -COMPLETED- NOTE: You do not need to have watched Twin Peaks to read this story.

I dusted my pant legs off and turned to the door but had come to abrupt stop as a crackly voice wheezed " day three, and you would think he would've learned." taking in a sharp breath and squeezing back into the small space my eyes found a very peculiar man, with very peculiar hair and too peculiar of a smile for someone close to death. " this is the beginning kids, welcome to the show."
