a fic wherein jarlaxle visits Walmart, barely survives, between stepping in lettuce and crying children, is assaulted by a wild karen, and decides, in the face of his recent near death experience, to invite his friend kimmuriel and roommate Artemis on a vacation to a resort to commemorate life. Shenanigans ensue. don't expect anything that makes sense here modern AU obviously I haven't visited a Walmart since I was six and have never been to a resort also some heavy jarlaxle/Artemis kimmuriel/ray'guy shipping cause Drizzle already radiates enough straight vibes for the entire drow population.

Jarlaxle and Artemis are finally content in Waterdeep. The do what they do best, kill and steal. Until a one of Waterdeep's best kept secrets comes out into the open, and out beloved antiheroes are forced to become the heroes. I didn't see enough Forgotten Realms Fanfics on this platform so I thought I'd just transfer it over ;)

After the battle of Helm's Deep, word reaches Legolas that Mirkwood and Erebor are both under threat from the Easterlings. Though it pains them, Legolas and Gimli decide to leave the fellowship to return to defend their homeland in the battle for the north. Meanwhile, Drizzt and Entreri are on their way home from Menzoberranzan after a failed attempt to save Dahlia, and Catti-brie is nearly done rebuilding the Hosttower in Luskan when somehow, they are transported to Middle Earth. Together, with Legolas, they find themselves caught up in the War of the North and they soon discover that Easterlings are the least of their worries.
