[You don't have to be much of anyone to be a hero] Melody Elodie Rivers is a normal girl living a normal life on Earth. Nothing interesting ever happens to her until her entire life is flipped around. How? Ninja from Ninjago come to pay her a visit, claiming that she is the one of a prophecy destined to defeat the Shadow Weaver, a monstrous woman hellbent on . . . Well, that's the confusing part. Killing Melody? Destroying the world? Something like that. Despite Melody's protests, she's trained as the newest Ninja. Problem? She has no Elemental Power and it doesn't seem like it's going to manifest anytime soon. As if things aren't bad enough - who wants a powerless hero? - some lightning samurai takes an important artifact and it's up to the Ninja to get it back. Except, they're led to a lesser-known realm called the Storm Realm, where the Shadow Weaver resides. All the Ninja has to do is grab the artifact, not get caught by the Shadow Weaver, and somehow make it home. Easy, right? As the Shadow Weaver tries to destroy Melody, as the realm threatens to take away what she loves, Melody starts to realize something. Realize just wh she really is.
