Dear reader, this book is supposed to depict the tragedy of how love is viewed in today's world. Growing up, the majority of people are told that you have to be a certain age in order to actually experience love for someone. Although this hardly makes sense, there is some logic to it. If you could only experience love at a "logical" age then why do we love our friends, family, pets, etc...? Also understanding the other side of why people may say this, is maturity. If you can't treat people with the utmost respect then maybe you shouldn't be loving anyone. Everyone deserves to experience the thrill of love but there are certain things and times that help someone love the right way.

this is a short story of mine that i wrote because i just felt the need to. it's about a young girl who be-friends an elderly man that sits on a bench outside her apartment everyday. he says he's waiting for his girl to get off the bus stop from across the street and she can't figure out why he still waits when she's not coming. it ends on a sad but touching scene that i hope you'll all like.
