Midnightride Stories

I threw the reins over his large neck, stepping onto the fence and sliding into his back, ready for this midnight ride.

As much as I love Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere," it gets pretty much everything wrong. Spoiler alert: Revere never made it to Concord. So I remade the poem to be historically accurate.
