On December 16, 1773, the colonists were sick of the British rule. So late at night, they went to the Boston Harbor, boarded the 3 ships, and dumped the tea into the water. This event, commonly known as "The Boston Tea Party," led to the fight for independence in America. The colonists who participated in this event were all white americans. But- what if they weren't? A different side of the same story, read about a young slave named Darcaue, who will show readers what it might have been like to be apart of such a historic event- as a black man. *This story is about 10,000 words or 18 pages long*

As much as I love Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere," it gets pretty much everything wrong. Spoiler alert: Revere never made it to Concord. So I remade the poem to be historically accurate.

A group of teens find plans for something new... something undiscovered by anyone. And they do what any teen who doesn't think about consequences would do... they built the machine. Immediately they are zapped back to a time of war where survival is everything and friendship is worth the risk. But what of the youngest of the friends, is the only way back home... and he says no...

Different people in 1775, this historical fiction, of the time when the Red Coats invaded the US. This has to do with Paul Revere's ride, and other fictional characters and their stories.

One chapter per character, we'll start with the original cast first (and some background characters)

Mark Lindsay is an up-and-coming singer in New York that is gaining success through his manager (and bandmate), Paul Revere. With tension at an all-time high between the two men, the never-ending conflict begins to take a toll on Mark. However, one last mishap is the final straw that turns things around in the worst way possible.

When Paul Revere is kidnapped by a time traveler determined to change the outcome of the American Revolution, thirteen-year-old Kep Westguard is sent to Boston, 1775, to take his famous midnight ride. Kep's four-person team has twenty-four hours to light the famous lanterns at Old North Church, warn Lexington and Concord that the British are coming, and rescue John Hancock and Samuel Adams from hanging as traitors to the crown. As the clock ticks, one teammate is arrested as a runaway slave, a British watchman stops another from lighting the lanterns, and Kep nearly drowns when he attempts to cross the Charles River in a Patriot inventor's prototype wooden, hand-crank submarine. When Hancock and Adams ask Kep to sneak a trunk of critical papers out from under the eyes of the British Army during the Battle of Lexington, Kep has to decide how much he's willing to sacrifice for his country. If he fails, there will be no America to return to.

How much does it take to drive a people to Revolution? Taxation is at an all time high in the colonies and the people of Boston have had quite enough with the Crown's lack of care as to their state of affairs. With King George turning a blind eye to their cries for representation, the colonists find their voice in a group of Bostonian men that call themselves The Sons of Liberty. Armed with pens, charisma, and a fervent belief in the natural rights of mankind, we join men such as Samuel Adams, Joseph Warren, and John Hancock on the journey to free the thirteen American colonies from the most powerful empire in the world and carve a path for the rise of a brand new nation. However, bringing about freedom does not come without its cost, and the cost of freedom looks to be war.
