With Misty hanging in Tremorton and doing her part in keeping the town safe (though not for free), Jenny decides to leave the superheroics to her and starts to slack off. But when Misty's reckless mercenary habits clash with Jenny's views on protecting the innocent, fisticuffs break out between the two. What's going to become of their friendship?

20 years ago....a asteroid containing powerful cosmic energy crash landed on the earth, an extraterrestrial organization had caught word of this, and began a project to build a powerful giant robot to harness this energy, the project was dubbed, "Firebird" but seemed unsuccessful despite the project running smoothly, 20 years later, as the head of the project, Dr Nora Wakeman was now living a life as a mother to her more advanced, creation, Jenny Wakeman, also known as XJ9, who had been treated like an emergence response unit, only going out into the world until she is needed, and Dr Wakeman's creation that tried to harness the energy, Firebird locked away underneath their house, until, one day, three teenagers would come to meet the robot Jenny Wakeman, and dr Wakeman and when a young man whom she found promise in, showed him her other creation, Firebird, an event that would forever change their lives, as a evil robot empire and many other forces of darkness sets their sights on the planet earth, and they will meet many new allies friends and fight many enemies that will decide the fate of the universe! an epic battle of good and evil shall begin.... This is the story of the Gigantic Blue Gladiator, Firebird! Back in the day, Sonic the Hedgehog and Nicktoons(Nickelodeon) were the highlights in the late '90s through mid-'00s. SA 1, SA 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic 06(yeah THAT game), Secret Rings, Unleashed, and Black Knight told great stories, built character arcs, and gave heart to show emotion around. Even the Archie and IDW Comics and Sonic X did that well. The Nicktoon Unite series was interesting. Battle for Volcano Island and Attack of the ToyBots were pretty good. But, what if Sonic were to crossover with that series. Well, time to see what I can do with it.
