Written as a response to the writing prompt ""Free ZR-22! Androids are people too!" The protesters chant outside. They think they're saving you, but you're locked up for their protection." from u/Stormseeker71 on r/WritingPrompts.

Seth is a FriendUnit. A construct, aka, human-robot thing, made to be friends with a child they are assigned to. Seth's owner-friend wants Seth to be free and thinks construct owning is slavery. Luckily our favorite rogue SecUnit still has the code to disable govenor modules

Following the events of Network Effect (SPOILERS), SecUnit a.k.a Murderbot is trying to get a grip of its relationshi.... sorry... I meant "mutual administrative assistance", with ART. Like Ratthi said: "I think that while you and Perihelion know how to have relationships with humans, neither of you is quite sure how to have a relationship with each other." I have not yet read System Collapse so I do not know how SecUnit and ART's relationshop will evolve, but when this short fanfic idea came to me, I had to write it down.

She wasn't an error. She was something the system didn't know how to read. That's different. Humans do this thing where if a person doesn't behave the way they expect, it must be broken. Dangerous, even. Because obviously they're the standard. (Spoiler: they're not.) (This fanfic is a mix of all 7 TDOMB novellas/novels, and the Apple TV show combined.)
