In the South, when you’re upset, you’re always told to be strong and act like whatever you’re upset about never happened. Savannah has become a professional, when it comes to acting like things never happened. When she was eight, her mother passed away. Two years after her mom died, Savannah’s dad had become a terrible alcoholic and began to physically abuse Savannah. Five years later, Savannah had begun to fall in love with a boy that she can’t stand, Jared. Suddenly, Jared’s old pick up truck becomes the only place where Savannah can feel safe, or is it Jared that makes her feel safe?
