Brooklyn Tavarez has always lived in a small town she just never went to the school. Until she had to. Join Brooklyn as she grows up in a mostly White Town seeing few of her color, where she has to face that she's a different from everybody else more than just her skin color, has MULTIPLE crushes, struggles to figure out why she was able to beat death and finds her pace in her family. This is a coming of age story starting from kindergarten to 9th grade. This is based on true events but names, places & some parts have been changed.
