Something in the style of George Lucas, only without the fanfare or anything to show for it, I have ended up writing my story in reverse. My ongoing, currently dormant autobiography 'The Hidden Self' generally covers my adult years, and the appendix-cum-separate-book called 'Better Luck Tomorrow' that came out of it generally covers my later high school years. So then, this book naturally takes the spot of covering my childhood and early teens, through the lens this time of the video games I loved so much. It is, as always, a bit of a messy amalgamation of genres: breezing willy-nilly down the halls of personal memoir, 90s nostalgia, video game history and maybe a little of cultural criticism. I don't know if I will actually see this one to fruition - it's never happened before - but I can certainly hope. As it stands, it has just become a fun little escape into lighter territory when want to take a break from my current novel.- Reads 7

----------------------------------------- A close friend of yours, Ella, gives you her old Nintendo 64 on your first day as a sophmore in college. It comes with a crappy copy of Super Smash Bros and one yellow controller. In search of new games for your Nintendo, you drive around the nearby neighborhood's garage sales. As you pass by the last sale, ready to call it a day, you stop the car. Something draws you to the almost-empty driveway of the last garage sale. ----------------------------------------- This is a fanfiction based off of Alex Hall's (or more commonly known as Jadusable) Creepypasta story: BEN Drowned. I have no intent to directly copy Alex's work. I had the inspiration to rewrite it with my own words, but then I stopped checking Wattpad as often, and lost the writing motivation. I've gotten more into poetry, so, if I can remember that I have Wattpad, I may or may not start posting my poems on here. ----------------------------------------- EXTRA NOTE: If you would like to copy-paste my work and continue it with your own words, feel frre to do so, but PLEASE CREDIT ME! I will not let those years of hard work go unnoticed by avid readers who wondered "Where did the creator get their inspiration from?". Animal Crossing was originally a lot darker is a story about the darker side of the Animal Crossing franchise, particularly in its early iterations as Nintendo tried to use the franchise to connect to an older audience before canceling those plans and moving forward with a more family-oriented approach. I thought I was another normal kid in a normal society. An average person with nothing special to show, but I was wrong. You see, some supers know that they have powers, and others find out later when a traumatic incident happens, or their parents tell them, or after getting bitten by an animal(Ouch Parker that's my foot!).
